Our TAE word for the day is a slang term, and one I believe you will agree applies to Mr. A on more than one level.
phat: (pronounced “fat”) adjective–Excellent, great.
PHAT has also been used as an acronym meaning “Pretty Hot And Tempting” but this usage, a “backronym,” dates much later than the origin of the term, which was first documented in 1963.

I haven’t heard PHAT used in years, but oh man, is it a perfect word to describe Mr. A!
I had not heard PHAT in ages, either, but my Wordsmith Daily Words for this week will all be slang terms and phat was the first one. Of course, I immediately thought of our Pretty Hot and Tempting honey, Richard.
Despite almost a half century of usage, I still can’t get used to this one. “Excellent” does apply, I feel.
I prefer “excellent” too, Leigh!
I honestly had no idea the phrase went back to my childhood. I thought it was much more recent. Oh, yes, “excellent” is a most appropriate term for Richard.
I don’t know what it is about that press conference photo but that shirt and those biceps are PHAT.
Grace, I agree–the snugness of that LBS and the way it beautifully showcases his bodacious biceps is well and truly PHAT.
