I think we’ll agree this promo photo of Richard Armitage as Lucas for S9 is absolutely delicious, but the original had, of course, a mopey-looking Laila Rouass as Maya in part of the photo. Now, my Photoshopping skills are still fledgling, and following the beautiful contours of Mr. A’s body is a bit tricky in places when one is erasing the background. Enjoyable, but tricky. Still, I decided to tackle it and was pretty pleased with the final results. I hope you enjoy a Maya-Free Zone.

I think it definitely looks better without Mopey Maya in the frame. Oh, yes, those contours are very amazing. And I had to enlarge the photo and study it carefully to complete it, of course. *cough* Glad you likee!

When I expressed surprise that this photo hadn’t been reproduced Maya-free, you sounded doubtful that you were ready to tackle such a task. NO WAY!! This is wonderful! *drool* Poor you, having to so carefully follow his contours!!!!

Also, my computer is set up to allow up to 50 redos of the additions on a particular piece. That sounds like a lot, but I hit that button plenty of times while working on this. Ultimately I was pretty happy with how it came out or I wouldn’t have posted it. Ah, yes, those contours. . . . *sigh*

How can you possibly be mopey or moody in His Royal Gorgeousness’ presence? You’d think any red-blooded female would be glowing with happiness just from being in the same room with this divine creature, let alone being kissed&cuddled by him! Maybe Maya/LR’s just not red blooded. She probably bats for the other team.
