Richard plays this character so well that depiste Guy is the “bad guy”, we cannot hate him for all the bad things he have done. Because we know that he can also be gentle and kind.
And of course, we also like this character because Richard looks so good in those leather outfits.
He jokingly (?) suggests getting rid of his medieval mullet by shaving his head–it’s in one of the audio commentaries on the RH S2 DVDs. Little did he know that not only would they NOT shave his head, they’d give him even MORE hair.
