Guyday Friday: Sir Guy extends thanks

Standard

Guy has a rather busy time ahead of him, it seems. He has a lot of lovely ladies to personally thank for their generous support of my Comic-Con Trip Fund. He wants to make certain you all feel well and truly appreciated, my dears, in the way only Guy can show it.  In the meantime, he wants to share more artwork featuring–who else?–the Sultan of Swagger and Smoulder himself.

Guy really likes this one.  Being described as  beautiful and heroic makes his day.

Comic-Con International is coming to San DiegoAnd it’s less than three weeks away!  Fedoralady has booked her flight and her room and plans to be there with bells on . . .  Thank you to everyone  who has supported her trip fund to make this dream a reality. You are the best!  (And yes, donations are still being taken) . . .

  1. Please let Sir Guy know that I’ve been watching more episodes of RH today and just watched “Brothers in Arms”, (the one Richard himself said he liked) which included the “journey of the necklace” and naturally “The Glove Scene”!! **swoon** It is really worth watching him even if he is in the background as he stays completely in character at all times and his facial expressions are priceless!! He is so brilliant as Guy and as you said, so very beautiful!!

    • AHHHHH . . . so much goodness in that ep. The whole Glove Love thing. Guy being certain Marian had consorted with the enemy (which of course, she had) and the cold fury in his face and voice when he demands the necklace. And then when she “found” the necklace and you see the hope return to his face and how he pleads for her so wide-eyed and a bit desperate to accept his proposal of marriage. He really was so brilliant in that role and it’s why I hate it when people dismiss RH as rubbish. It wasn’t Shakespeare, and the writers seemed to be smoking something funny at times, but it was entertaining with some very talented cast members– and Richard as Guy was sublime.

    • This is a wonderful episode. Except for Peeping Bobbin again during the proposal scene… aargh! When Guy says he has an apology to make to Marian’s father, my heart goes out to him, to see him so humbled.
I need me some Richard watching after being away…RH S1 sounds good!!! :)

  2. My RH boxset finally arrived (the Dutch edition), but there’s no mention on the box covers of any audiocommentary as an extra… Only 2 featurettes are mentioned…
