Some photos have been popping up on the Internet of RA at (I am assuming) the airport. He’s dressed down in well-worn jeans, a clingy tee-shirt (hello, biceps! Nice to see you again!) and shades, sporting his backpack. The boy next door–the really gorgeous and sexy boy–on the road again. Now, one of the best photos of Richard had him posing with a gentleman. Nothing against this pleasant-looking guy in his Walking Dead tee, but I really preferred the image with just RA. So, naturally, I had to do some photo editing . . . these were done with PicMonkey, a free online photo editing site that is fast becoming a favorite of mine. Teutcher, this one’s for you, darlin’.

Oh my, I nearly passed out. I find him extremely beautiful in these. Carefree, relaxed, perhaps. I also like those shades on him. Where did you find these? Is there a story behind them?
They popped up in a couple of different places on the web. I have no idea who the guy in the uncropped photo is so I don’t know the story behind them. If I find out more and I will let y’all know. It’s the same photo–I just reversed and straightened one of them, intensifying the colors, and then converted the other to B&W and used focus blur, which I really am loving the look of. He does look great, doesn’t he?? Just this gorgeous, unassuming guy, traveling light, on his way to–who knows?

I love the way he looks in these pics! I mean just look at him!! *sigh*
I’m a little puzzled though, at how shocked people were to see him thus! “Normal” was a common comment and it made me wonder what they actually expected to see!! I guess they have got used to seeing “celebrity” types, but here they see before them someone who I’m positive looks on himself as an ordinary guy with none of the “look at me” attitude you see in many of these so-called stars and certainly no affectations. As we have often said, “No trutting peacock here!” Even the way he is dressed in no way calls attention to himself – just the opposite in fact! Yet another example of why we find ourselves attracted to this modest self-effacing guy!! What a sweetheart!
I was one who commented on loving the normalcy of this shot, with Richard dressed for comfort while travelling and carrying a backpack, just a regular guy, no ego about him.
Pics like these have been a rarity in the past. We’ve seen photos of him arriving and leaving radio/TV interviews and promotional appearances, and behind the scenes candid shots, but I can recall very few of this kind where he is going about his day to day business. He’s admitted to getting around with a fair degree of anonymity in the past but that’s all about to change in the next few months, I reckon.

From what I heard the guy is an autograph hunter and pics turned up at ebay, along with pics with Martin Freeman.
Even if the guy was an autograph hunter, it can only mean one thing: Richard’s fame is rising!
Yeah, if you are a “professional” autograph hunter, you aren’t likely to waste your time and efforts on someone you don’t think is going to pay off for you. Bottom line.
I wish he was stopping over at my place.For tea of course…. lol….A great find. I like photos with fans (spooks, christchurch,etc). He comes accross as appoachable and always seems to be enjoying the interaction with the fan/s. I like to witness that human connection between him and the fanbase. Thanks for these.
Someone mentioned there is such a normalcy about him in these photos. Just this “regular guy” who is so out of the ordinary, quietly going about his business. Yes, his humanity really signs through in these moments.
You did well to crop it and just leave the important image on the pic. LOL. I do like the B&W but I think the color one is more vibrant and gives a real life feel. The B&W is more poetic, it seems like it is part of a story, a biography maybe, if that makes any sense.

A common enough conversation around the globe. My middle son acknowledges his abilities as an actor and has seen all his films, but he did say at one point with a huge twinkle in his eye:”He’s a really good actor, but I can understand why you like him, mum!”

Only Richard could be this beautiful in a tee-shirt and jeans, with a backpack and all. I’ve seen plenty of the male of the species at airports last month and none of them came even close.

He’s a private guy so maybe those big shades make him feel more comfortable. And maybe his eyes are like mine, really light-sensitive so he needed protection from the SoCal sun and just left them on LOL

Is it me or he has gained a little weight?
I don’t think he’s gained weight, I think his muscle mass may have shifted a bit. All that swordplay likely built up his upper body more. And keep in mind the camera adds pounds. People who saw him in person at the event said he looked slimmer than they expected.
I’m no fashionista, but those sunnies are seriously stylish. I’m hoping someone will be able to identify them, just as Richard’s Burberry coat and Balmain jeans (at CC) have been. They are very different to the ones he has worn before:

I’m trying to work out which ones I like on him best…not that I don’t have anything else to think about…at least, nothing that interests me quite as much.
And since he wore those when he flew in to SD, I don’t suppose they were purchased in SoCal. I am sure some fashion maven out there will be able to ID them.

You’re right, even a very plain tee-shirt and jeans look mouth-wateringly good when he wears them, and when he’s worn something that’s not so flattering, he still looks wonderful. *sighs too*

The SD sunnies are very stylish, but I think I prefer Porter’s aviators. I’m not so keen on the more wrap-around type like those he wore in Russia. Mind you, I do think he looks hot in all of them regardless what kind he’s wearing!
As for his mouth in that SB pic…it gives me goosebumps, makes me weak at the knees and my nerve ends zing …such a gorgeous, kissable mouth…

I actually like him with this glasses! But also the others look classy….. He can wear them so well. It’s in his posture and attitude, isn’t it? Gosh….
He has this bearing–he just looks so good, so right, in pretty much any thing you put on him.
I think the whole outfit he wears in this SB scene is……well…..stunning!!
Too bad he had to exchange them all for the crumpled prison clothes. How did he manage to look good even wearing those??
