Well, judging by various comments made recently on the blog, a lot of us seem to like this particular This Morning interview Richard shot to promote Spooks. Whether it’s the healthy glow of his complexion, the humor and intelligence in those eyes, the engaging smiles and laughter, or the way that pulled-back hairstyle (to hide his Guy S3 mane) beautifully showcases those strong masculine features–he’s a stunner in my book.

But wait, there’s more . . .

This is one of my favorites. We get the bonus of the beautiful hand with the beautiful face.

    • Thanks. I haven’t been on Twitter much lately, after that incident where I “lost” two days, and then everything with my cat, I decided I needed to dial back on things for a bit. I’ll be back. ;)

      • Understand completely. I must say that I’m finding Twitter another one of those things that can take up too much time! I go to open up a blog or 2 and then get side-tracked by Twitter! LOL I’ll have to learn some self-discipline very quickly. :D

  1. I have these pictures in my huge Richard Armitage picture collection and they are some of my favorites. The man is TOTALLY and SUPER sexy in them. Is this the show where Richard mentions looking like a vagrant?

    • Yep, this is the vagrant comment interview. If only all vagrants could be that attractive LOL Would you believe someone who was a fan and her mother both thought he looked terrible in this interview?? I thought they had to be watching a different clip than I was! If that’s “terrible” than the rest of mankind really doesn’t have a prayer when it comes to looks . . .

      • You’ve got to be kidding! They thought he looked “terrible”??? I’m thinking they couldn’t be real fans or have the GTG if they could entertain such a thought for even a second!! I’m aghast!! You’d have to have a swinging brick instead of a heart to think such a thing!! He is absolutely STUNNING in that interview.

        • Yes….STUNNING exactly describes Richard in that interview. I cannot tell you how many times I have stared at these photos in my collection. I am completely mesmerized by the way RA looks in them. Even now it is still challenging not to become hypnotized just from looking at them. Margaret and John Armitage produced a work of ART. Richard is a physical masterpiece. I really would love to know what his brother looks like.

          • That has crossed my mind but I don’t dwell on it. I TRULY hope Richard can keep his private life – well – private, and his family out of the limelight. Obviously friends and neighbours know them well but I dread to think that one day he and his family might find themselves hounded by the media! To me it doesn’t bear thinking about and I pray that his life will remain as normal as it possibly can for a long time yet, even though he himself will become much better known in the months and years to come.

            • I do think of Viggo Mortensen, who became hugely well-known after LOTR, but who has also been able to maintain a private life away from the cameras. I hope the same holds true for RA. Viggo has also been able to do work in both big budget productions and smaller films and take on roles he finds rewarding. He’s something of a Renaissance man as well–artist, poet, musician in addition to his acting.

        • I am not altogether certain she was a real fan of RA’s, although she certainly claimed to be. She became enamoured of Guy and Marian primarily because of an admitted attraction to Lucy Griffiths. She actually wrote anti-Guy fanfic after he killed Screechy’s brother (excuse me, but wasn’t the kid trying to kill HIM?? Did he not have the right to defend himself?) admitted she had days when she just “went off Richard Armitage” didn’t seem at all broken up over Guy’s death but waxed rhapsodic over Lucy’s reappearance as Marian. And her mother thought Lucas was “unhygienic” because of the washroom scene. The daughter also didn’t understand what all the fuss was over Richard’s chest. Or find his readings of Ted Hughes’ poetry swoon-worthy. What conclusions would you draw, ladies?

          • I would wonder what she’s doing in the RA community. Really. If she’s enamored of Lucy, and that is totally understandable, then head on over to the LG community and be with like-minded individuals.

Unless, as I’ve seen happen in another community, the sole purpose of spouting those kinds of comments is to get an unpleasant rise out of the rest of the followers. And, yes, I’ve seen the mother-daughter tag team action in that other place, as well.

Hey, I wonder if it’s the same m-d team that goes from community to community, trying to see how much they can stir up the residents? ;)
