I thought I had lost a good chunk of one of my novel’s chapters tonight. Thankfully, it was retrieved (albeit with several changes and some additions missing). I popped in my earbuds and started playing my 50 classics album (a steal from iTunes) downloaded to the Kindle Fire while I sorted things out. Crisis averted. Cellos make me think of Mr. A. This is good.
The missing text scenario is the kind of thing that happens when you’re tired and stressed and that condition known as Fibromyalgia Fog overwhelms you. Concentration becomes very difficult and I can’t remember some of the simplest things. This annoys me to no end as people used to know me as practically a freakin’ walkin’ Encyclopedia Britannica.
Tomorrow is, however, another day.
Anyway, I made several GIFs last night featuring various characters and here are a few for your viewing pleasure.
Back on the grid . . . fancy some chips?
(I really, really wish we had gotten more of Lucas and Adam. Great onscreen chemistry between the actors and they looked just great together onscreen, too–the dark and fair-haired hunks)
Bloody knackered and still the sexiest thing alive.
Oh, Mr. Mulligan, you are very bad but you do have a certain–something.
The Dark Side has never looked better. OH, that smirk . . .

You have almost got me drooling here Angie with these gifs! I was just watching the Closing Ceremony for the 2012 Olympics that I recorded yesterday and when they thanked what I took to be the Security detail, I couldn’t help but think of Lucas, Spooks and their Regnum Defende motto! S7 of Spooks was amazing and like you said, it’s pity that Adam and Lucas didn’t work together longer. They made quite the dynamic duo!
No complaints about the other three gifs either – all equally yummy.
When I look at them he still amazes me with all the things he can do with his eyes!
Lucas had my heart from the first moment he stumbled out of that trunk. It’s a shame they couldn’t keep up the same level of quality for all the succeeding seasons. *sigh* His eyes are so very expressive . . . *double sigh*
Absolutely agree, ladies – Richard is “a beautiful boy” as Lorraine Kelly said and so is Rupert. Have you seen that gif of Richard, Dervla and rupert sitting together at one of the BAFTAS – they’re laughing their heads off at something one of the presenters had said. It’s on richardarmitageconfessions – another site I visit every day!
Angie, you know how to make my morning tea an absolute delight.
All this sweetness to go along with it!
What is it about John Mulligan that draws us? He’s a shark, we know that right from the beginning, but we’re still pulled in. Is it the way he handles a fork? Or his eyes while he’s doing that?
Enquiring minds want to know …
I was sucked in right from the start when Ellie opened the door and there he stood in all his stubble-y glory! His eyes are my downfall!! Can’t seem to drag myself away even when he is turning on the charm for his own ends. A little bit of me still wanted to think he had real feelings for her in spite of everything and when she walked away something inside him died and those incredible eyes reflected the feeling. As I have commented so many time – HOW does he do that???
Those eyes are dazzling and he used them to good effect as the charming wolf in sheep’s clothing, Mulligan. I love the curls at his nape and the heavy stubble, here, too. That’s why I made the video Hypnotize Me. Mulligan really does have that supernatural power there to draw us in. And I held out a bit of hope also that he did have a little goodness in there beneath the corruption, some feelings for Ellie. The thing is, he really does keep you guessing, that Mr. A.
Oh the dreaded brain fog! It a symptom of my Hypothyroidism! It’s so much fun to feel like you’re running on about half your brain. Yesterday, while checking out at Target, I froze at the debit machine. It makes you feel stupid.
It certainly does. *sigh* I felt like banging my head against the wall, but I don’t think that would have helped the situation.
Sorry but I’m having a quiet little giggle here. I want to say, “Huh..you want to try fibromyalgia + hypothyroidism” but I won’t
. I told you about forgetting my thyroid medication for about 5 months, didn’t I? I’m still not sure I’m taking the right dose but I’m scared to have another blood test – I might be told to take a higher dose and I already rattle when I walk!!
You are having fun with the gifs, aren’t you? Feeding our addiction, thank you…
Yeah, I do enjoy making them.
