In case you missed it, this tweet showed up today and Frenz posted it at her blog. This gentleman is working on RA’s as yet unnamed tornado movie project. Does anyone on that lower monitor look familiar to you? (And will anyone else be glad when they come up with a name for the film?) Discuss (ooh, I feel like a teacher again).

I love that picture… I just love it. Being a bit of a photo geek, this is really difficult for me. I want to see the REAL shot. The real deal. I want a close-up. Dammit! I want to see the Handsome Stranger more clear! Come on!
I can totally understand that that desire. I wish I had a giant magnifying glass right now. LOL It certainly does look like his build. I mean, I have studied that . . . subject rather extensively. Maybe we’ll get a bigger image soon . . . At least it’s something!!
Oh yeah!! That’s him for sure! I haven’t seen anyone else who stands anything like the way he does! Quite unique! Such control of his movements!
I will be glad when they can come up with a name so that I can boast a little and say, “Did you know that Richard Armitage is to star in a new movie called . . . . . . .?” I hope it will be a good title as a cheesy one might put people off although once Thorin is unleashed on the world I’m hoping people will be flocking to see him in something else!
I just get tired of saying “the tornado movie” because it sounds like one of those parody films–you know, like Scary Movie was a parody of Scream.
And if that isn’t him, it’s his long-lost twin brother ( oh, there couldn’t be too men that gorgeous in the world, could there??) And I agree, Thorin will make them all BELIEVERS. 
The stance, height, tilt of the head, profile … all look like him.
OK, so I geeked-out a bit and copied the pic to my photo-editing s/w, cropped out the unnecessary bits and blew it up to 400%. The image is pixelated but not beyond recognition … the stance is pure RA, and reminds me of “armor Guy” specifically.
But, then again … this could just be wishful watching on my part.
Actually, I was thinking of Guy when I looked at the image. Richard has a very distinctive stance as well as build. I really do think it’s him, and not just our wishful thinking.
But, Angie … you’re *always* thinking of Guy.
Well, yes. I am. It’s even worse when you are using him as the physical model for your novel’s male protagonist. *sigh* You know, the whole, tall, dark, smouldering vibe.
I sympathize, sweetie … TD&S … a possibly debilitating state.
I came down with a case of that last night, myself. I was out researching images for my next post, and that bad boy Guy, he led me right to the S2 E3 Marian/armor/candlelight scene. And kept me prisoner there, replaying it again and again … until I finally *thudded* … and woke up this morning. And that’s why nothing got posted …
(That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. *giggle*)
My money says that is the most played, replayed, replayed in slo-mo, replayed frame-at-a-time scene from the whole 3 series! Not that I would do such a thing. And no, I most certainly wasn’t doing it at 6 this morning before going to work. Goodness, what a thought.
And you certainly don’t know the precise point that scene starts. Or exactly how *long* it runs. Heaven forbid!

I read the beginning title of this post and got so excited. You need to stop teasing me. Like gisbornesboy I want to see the real shot and close up. I thought the RA drought was at an end since principal photography for The Hobbit wrapped up and here we are still looking for Richard.
Sorry, this is the best I can do at present. Hopefully this guy or someone else will provide some more close-up shots.
You are a journalist put your thinking cap on. Xenia needs a Richard Armitage fix. This bowl of oatmeal with fax seeds that I am having for breakfast isn’t doing it.
I’d put serious money on that being him. The height, the stance, the angle of his head.. yup, it’s him alright!
Yeah, it sets off all the right bells and whistles for me.
I wonder how my husband loves filmmaking in America. I do hope that the director and the rest of the production crew is keeping it fun. Surely one of the morning shows here has plans to have RA as a guest. I wonder if RA already has another project lined up. I mean besides extra filming for The Hobbit.
Knowing our lovable workaholic, I wouldn’t be surprised if he does have something, assuming they’ve more or less cemented in when the additional TH shooting will take place.
I sure hope our “lovable workaholic” takes a break soon for his own sake even though he seems to be doing just fine!!
We don’t want him tiring himself out, now do we? 
All work and no play, you know. I genuinely do not want him to burn himself out. I know he loves his work and goodness knows, he is very good at it. But some of these very intense roles might take a toll on one’s psyche as well as physical being. I just want him to look after himself properly. Yeah, I know, Armitage Protectiveness Mode.

The tall man in the first pic definitely looks like him! Looks like he is wearing a jacket the sleeves of which are, again, a bit too long
That is something I have always wondered about his clothing-the often little bit too long sleeves. Well, it’s a matter of taste, but I often find them just a tiny bit too long. For such a tall man, I would expect the sleeves to be a bit too short for him!
I continuously have problems with long sleeves being too long for me, but that’s because I have extra vertebrae in my back and I am two inches taller than I should be otherwise. Makes me long-waisted. As a result, I prefer three-quarter-length sleeves.
Maybe that’s why RA rolls his up so often?
Definitely it’s Richard and without beard.
No actor has the build like him has. Would be a lot of coincidence there to be another one in that movie.
An example of a similar stance to the one on the monitor – a characteristic one for Richard I find. There are so many instances of it here and there.

I was looking at some of them tonight and wondered, not for the first time, why he seems to be extra beautiful in that series? Did TPTB think that made up for his character assassination?
