When I was in high school, my art teacher, Priscilla, had a reproduction of an ancient Greek sculpture of a man’s head that we drew in class. It was to help prepare us to draw portraits. We drew that head from every angle: the front, the back, the profile, and the last, the trickiest, was the three-quarter view. Those of you who have studied art will know what I mean. Because she stored the head in a coffeemaker box, we called it “Mr. Coffee.”
Looking at these screencaps from the SBviral vid, I am somehow reminded of Mr. Coffee. The sculpted planes of that face, the strong nose and jawline. Classical beauty with, in Mr. A’s case, a delightful asymmetry. And the sand and sweat and dirt can’t diminish it. In a way, they simply emphasize it all the more.
Oh, I do love your three-quarter view, Mr. Armitage. Even better than Mr. Coffee’s.

I love these “Strike back” pics, especially Nr 2. So beautiful… <3
The screencaps look like drawings that look like photographs, if that makes any sense.
Gorgeous, intense, powerful …
Think I just found something new, and for a completely different reason
, to add to the CBeeBies vids on my Kindle Fire.
The videography was excellent–very artistic. Question: how did you import the videos to your Fire? We haven’t had this one long and while I have put music in my Amazon Cloud to access on the Kindle Fire, I would like to add a few videos. I was trying to read instructions last night but my brain wasn’t working well. And I’ve got to take a nap because an hour and a half of sleep last night was NOT enough.
I bought a nifty little, cheap! (some on Amazon for $1 or less) USB cable that goes between my laptop and the Kindle — inspire Amazon Kindle USB to Micro USB Cable. That way, I don’t have to worry about whether it can be stored in the Amazon Cloud to have access, as some iTunes stuff won’t work. I can load anything that’s on my computer directly to the Kindle … music, photographs, videos. Comes in really handy when we travel. If friends have something on their computer that we want to share, I can plug this in, transfer to the Kindle, and then transfer to my comp when we get home. (Yes … I’m a geek.
)
I’m using a Mac, so it is super-easy to transfer stuff from it to the Kindle. Connect the cable to each device, open the Kindle directory, find the items you want to put on the Kindle, then drag’n'drop. I was able to determine how to create separate folders within the Gallery on the Kindle to make managing the content easier. (I’m a hands-on girl … I refer to the manual when I can’t figure it out myself.
)
Let me know if you need more info.
Hope this helps!
Oh, and did you know you can READ BOOKS on the Kindle, too? Who’d've thunk? *snicker* *giggle*
I’ve transferred music and photos to my Kindle like this before. It comes in handy.
I have a USB cable that came as part of an accessory bundle. Transfer does not appear to be super-easy on a PC, however. I played around with it a bit last night. Actually, I ended up with this KF because Benny (who got it as a freebie through work) decided it wasn’t going to do what he wanted it to do. He was hoping for something to replace his aging iPod Touch that I gave him several years ago. He’s holding out for a android tablet now. He was ready to put it on eBay if I didn’t want it, but I said I would like to keep it.
I have a regular Kindle that I have plenty of books and audiobooks stored on, but I have so many audiobooks most of them are stored in the Audible library. I don’t have room on my regular Kindle. It appears you can’t download audiobooks directly from Audible to the Fire, either, which is a bummer.
I like things as simple and streamlined as possible. I am a geek, but not a technogeek.
I leave that to my husband.
I suppose I should tackle that huge manual he printed out for me at work. I actually like trying to figure things out for myself, too, but lately some things seem beyond me. *shrugs shoulders*
His beauty is breathtaking! I do love these pictures. They are very artistic — it’s true!
I just watched RA’s performance in Captain America, The First Avenger for the first time. RA did such a great job. I am so proud of him! The movie is available on netflix for streaming. Richard is so very handsome in it. I love it when Richard looks clean cut and conservative. Too bad he was one of the bad guys.
Heinz is a sharp-dressed man, that’s for sure. I love that Richard came up with new facial expressions that I didn’t recall seeing before when he was getting his evil on as Kruger. He may have only had a few minutes on screen, but as usual, he made the most of that role.
I love watching this video of RA.
Oh my God, I haven’t seen this clip before, thanks for sharing! Wow…He’s almost unbearably sexy in this!
In total agreement! I think I forget to breathe when I watch it! Just as well it’s a short video or else I’d pass out!
I guess that is what you call swooning!!!
I don’t think we could take that sort of intensity for much longer than a few moments.
I am so glad I decided to share this clip, since several folks apparently haven’t seen it. It’s just too powerful of a performance to miss. And yes, unbearably, unbelievably sexy.
Here is our man being a really bad boy. Great clips from Cold Feet.
Thanks Xenia! I had only seen little bits of CF on YT but not this video! I think I’ll have to buy the series for myself! He does the “naughty” parts really well and as usual convinces us that he’s a truly bad boy and SUCH a “flirty girty”!
He is extremely beautiful in that Viral Video and that moment quite took my breath away. Such intensity and no – neither the sand, sweat nor that pailful of water could diminish that beauty! It somehow managed to enhance it instead!!
Actually, I find it an enjoyable series beyond Lee (I watched the earlier series when they aired here b/f Richard even showed up in his Speedos). He is the perfect flirty-girty. You’d be tempted to play with him, that’s for sure, but you’d be an idiot to actually expect anything long-term with someone like Lee. I don’t know what Ramona was thinking.
His performance and his appearance in that vid are both breathtaking.
Ramona wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, was she? Even though she thought quite highly of herself…
Oh, yes, she was very certain she was handling things well when it came to Lee, being smart about it. But in the end, she wasn’t being very bright, actually planning to marry him.
After watching this I want to purchase the Cold Feet DVD too. Ramona was silly to expect Lee to be faithful to her. She knew what his reputation was, however, I cannot blame her for falling under his spell. Lee is gorgeous!!! I don’t know if I would have been strong enough not to fall for him, but I do know that I would have never moved in with him.
Yep, Ramona should have known better. Lee is someone you might want to have a fling with–and I suspect he’d be a lot of fun–but you just don’t, can’t expect a commitment from a guy like that. But yes, he is incredibly charming. You can see how the women are like moths to the flame. And Richard is so gorgeous and has so much charisma he is very believable in the role–even though his real personality is very different. Those puppy dog eyes . . . and the smiles. And the Speedos.
Oh, yes. If all you wanted was a good time, and you took appropriate precautions, Lee would be perfect. Trouble is, most of us want more, a lot more.
Yeah, you would have to guard your heart from falling for the charmer and that angelic face and killer bod. *sigh*
I don’t know what Mr. Coffee looked like but I’m willing to bet the three-quarter view of Richard’s is better. Much, much better…
LOL Mr. Coffee was handsome, but his eyes were distinctly blank looking.
Nothing like our Richard’s.
