I truly loved it when Allan and Guy joined forces as Team Leather. Allan was always my favorite outlaw and, naturally, Guy was my favorite, period.
Allan was funny, a cheeky charmer. And he had a certain pragmatism that I liked. Allan hadn’t had a cushy life, either. He wasn’t a spoiled brat like Robin. He used his wits to survive, even if it wasn’t entirely within the law.
Allan might be a bit dishonest and greedy at times, but at least he wasn’t a sanctimonious you-know-what like you-know-who. Although Guy snarled and snapped at him sometimes, Allan rolled with the punches. I think he was the closest thing to a friend that poor Guy actually had.
Guy discovers Allan’s new threads.
Was Allan enjoying watching Guy change a little too much? A topic I explored in Lost & Found . . .

I love them. I love them. I love them. They should have married and had lots of handsome babies (somehow).
Now that you are of age,
you really must read “Lost & Found” at some point. Guy and Allan’s own fractured fairy tale. They do make an absolutely adorable couple.
Send me a link to it then.
Although, I have a feeling I’ve read it already… Before I was “of age”… *smirks*
Robin Hood Slash Community at LJ, by any chance?
I know I had a few underage girls reading it there. Fanny/izforblue is going to change all my adult-rated stuff to make it public at Wattpad when she gets the opportunity. Would be easier for everyone to access. LJ is hard to navigate, I think, and DreamerFic is, of course, restricted to members only.
Still recommend that you join DF now you’re of age; I’d be happy to recommend you for membership, as I’m sure that Angie would, too.
Same here. And I believe Ali and Hedgey know Seb so he should have no problem getting accepted.
Guy and Allan were quite the team, weren’t they? I got a huge kick out of seeing Allan all dressed up like that! They seemed to complement each-other. The “back” views of Guy are pretty good too!
Guy’s reaction was hilarious–that double take when he realized what he had just seen and turned around to talk to Allan.
LOL! Richard played that SO perfectly, didn’t he? I’m still astounded by what he did in the role of Guy and how he can turn himself into a totally different person. When you watch RH you don’t really see Richard at all, just Guy! It’s an amazing talent and I can’t think of anyone else who would have done the part justice like he did.
He certainly had the charisma to handle it so beautifully!
It’s hard to believe this is the same man who played Harry Kennedy and John Strandring. Guy would have been much more of your standard cardboard cut out Henchman in most any other actor’s hands. Richard gave Guy depth and breadth, heart and soul.
So true! I think this is why so many of us can hardly wait for The Hobbit to arrive to see what he has done with THIS chaRActer! I think he will blow us all away once again.
I do believe that Thorin will become another iconic role for our Richard.
Richard did wonders with Guy of Gisborne; why else would he fire our imaginations (and other parts) quite so much?
I hope in future more people will discover Richard’s wonderful performance as Guy and appreciate it for the masterful acting job he gave in a “silly kiddie show.”
Go team leather!
, was leaning indolently against the pillar, just kind of watching castle life go by, and Guy strode by. “Whot? I had ta put sumthin’ on, dint I?”
I thought it was hilarious how Allan, enjoying his new threads
Oh, yes, it was a delightful scene. The double take by Guy, and Allan with his customary cheekiness, proud of his new Team Leather look.
Loved this scene!
Helloooo! I’m back!!! I got here via the twitter link! Yes, Guy and Allan, a great team, loved them, great chemistry!
Allan and Guy indeed made a good team. Allan was even cute, but not so handsome like his master.Do you remember when Marian was in trouble, because Guy had discovered She was the Nightwatchman? Guy and Allan together get rid Marian of a hanging.I adored that episode. So, I agree with Angie.Allan could to be the friend that Guy never had.
Yes, Allan and Guy were both responsible for saving Marian. They made a great team. And I think they both needed a friend at the time.
DEFINITELY think Allan was enjoying it. Mmmmm. Too bad Guy couldn’t have married Allan to found his Gisborne dynasty.
Think of all the beautiful blue eyes that could have come from that union, my dear.
Oh, yes!
And distinctive noses too!
Always loved Guy & Alan together Angie, and your Lost & Found fic is wonderful lost count of how many times I have read it.
Oh, thank you, darling.
It was so much fun to write, and of course, my first real foray into slash. My own little fractured fairy tale.
OT Angie, maybe you know this vid already?

It’s hilarious!! Enjoy your saturday evening!
Thankyou for the link, linda, I loved it, it’s hilarious! I especially loved the last few seconds…that glorious sniff of Guy’s!
Nobody sniffs like Guy.
Delightful.
Great fanart and gif Angie. I especially love the “Team leather”.
