Here’s my third (and I promise!) final tribute vid for Richard’s birthday. Earlier I posted two vids of the chaRActers saluting their wonderful Creator. I actually think Thorin and Guy are vying for who is going to cut the cake. Those alpha males!
I wrote Mama Armitage a letter (well, a fictional one) in honor of her son’s day. Clink on the link at the right if you missed it.
And now here’s the vid, which I think everyone just might be able to see! Get your dancing shoes on and get ready to celebrate Richard Crispin Armitage’s birthday! PAAAAAAR-TYYYYYY! Richard, I hope you have a very happy birthday and many, many more to come, dear fellow.

Happy Birthday Richard and this is really is a PAAARTY video. Great work.
I wanted upbeat and I think I accomplished that.
Definitely makes me want to get on my boogie shoes LOL
Wonderful video with wonderful pics as usual. Thank you
You’re welcome. What better occasion or individual to celebrate?
Feet are a-tappin’ over here! Terrific video, Angie! (I must learn how to do that!)
Thanks!
It’s super easy with the technology, trust me. The trickiest thing these days is choosing songs YT won’t block. *grumble grumble* I have found songs done by soundalikes rather than the original artists often pass muster.
My favorite birthday song! Thank you, three cheers for RA and cake for us!
Thank you! My favorite, too! Thorin and Guy will cut you a slice.
Mmmm cake! Great birthday song
Yeah, I thought so, too. Great minds and all that
Just so infectious.
Happy Armitage day!
How is it that with each year we get older, and Richard just gets sexier? I’d say Not Fair! but in truth, I’m thriled he’s like a fine wine. Only gets better with age
Happy Birthday Richard!
I figure if I just sit on 56 now, he’ll eventually catch up with me!
I like the way you think! Also, the older the get the less the difference in age matters in many ways.
I like the way you think, too. I was figuring I’d have to get through another couple of lifetimes to catch up…
It’s NOT fair but hurray for the way the man is aging so beautifully. Every time I don’t think I could possibly find him more fetching–I DO.
He’s blessed, he really, truly is, this guy.
I have an idea, give them a cake each so the alphas don’t have to fight over who’s going to cut the cake! Ha!
Excellent idea! We probably need two cakes anyway, since we know what a hollow leg our Dark Knight has and he could probably polish off one cake all by himself.
Why not one for each of the chaRActers in their favourite flavours?
Excellent idea!
Bravo Angie !
Happy Armitage Day to everyone.
Thank you, and Happy Armitage Day to all!
Btw, I was thinking about a possible bday song for RA last night (as you do) and this was the first tune that popped into my head (being a Beatles fan and all that, I guess it’s only natural!
)
Ohh Angie that vid was great. I can just hear Guy & Thorin arguing about who will cut the cake lol. All these photos coming from fans of RA on set are lovely aren’t they? He looks so gorgeous couldn’t you just munch him? He looks so much younger without the beard **sigh** Happy Armitage Day to all, and a very Happy Birthday to Richard.
Happy Armitage Day to you, too. Glad you enjoyed the vid. I think the suggestion about them having separate cakes to cut would probably be for the best, all things considered. He’s gorgeous and sweet and just downright irresistible, frankly. And yeah, he’s still got that boyish look when you shave off the beard.
Oh, I’m still dancing over here!!! We can make little cakes for everyone! I’d like to share a very quick and easy recipe for an individual cake. It’s called 1,2,3 Cake. You take an angel food cake mix and a cake mix of any flavor (I used strawberry for my experiment!) You put them is a big plastic bag and shake them up while dancing to the above video! Then, in a very small microwave bowl (I use a custard cup), mix 3 tablespoons of the cake mix, 2 tablespoons of water until smooth. Then microwave for 1 minute! I put strawberries and powdered sugar on top. Very light and tasty!
That sounds like a delicious treat! I like the way you incorporated the dancing into the preparation.
It’s somewhat belated, but I’m making a batch of dark chocolate brownies with ganache frosting.
Mmmmmmmmm.
