I’m watching Sins & Secrets on Investigation Discovery. Tonight’s ep is set in Auburn, a college town in our state, so naturally it was of special interest to me. My eyes are trying to give up the ghost for tonight–they are going through one of their gloopy phases and I have to constantly take off my glasses and wipe them and my eyes–but trying to hang in there for another half-hour. I’ve been playing with photos of Gizzy again. What can I say? Ladywriter loves him best of all.
No matter which of his characters is or are our favourites, I think all of us have to agree that his portrayal of Guy of Gisborne is unparalleled! He truly is beautiful – bottom line! Who else could have made us fall for someone who carried out such evil deeds for the evil Vasey? And who else would have made us forgive all that he had done and weep copious tears at his demise? Only Richard Armitage could accomplish that and he made that character unforgettable!! The only thing that helps is knowing that he is SND!!

Yes, and we all know he is not one to hog the spotlight (or even seek it). He is simply an incredibly talented and dedicated actor who created a complex and unforgettable Sir Guy–and in turn, stole the show. Wonder if he will do the same with Thorin . . .
I wouldn’t be surprised! I believe Thorin will become yet another chaRActer who captures our hearts. I think he’s going to blow everyone away whether they are already fans or not.
