Yes, wolves also only breed when there is enough of a food supply to feed their young. This is not to say they aren’t affectionate or intimate elsewhen. (Just like lions enjoy each other at will, not just when the females are ovulating.)
Lions have also been observed, with females in the pride appearing to seduce the alpha male when they were not in heat. In one notable instance that occurred in a safari park, females chose a senior lion, chased off younger challengers, and even helped support the senior male while he copulated with another female. How’s that for evidence of doing it for pleasure?
That’s very interesting! Lucky mature lion. Gosh, that poor old lion on RH would probably have needed about a half-dozen females to support him in such an endeavor. He looked like he was on his last legs. How did Richard keep a straight face??
I suspect that Richard was sorry for the poor old thing. I know I would have been. If keeping a straight face meant fewer takes… well, there’s a motive right there.
I know, the poor old thing looked practically moth-eaten. Sweet Richard probably took pity on it and made sure he got it right the first time.
There was always something wolfish about Guy at times. Certainly if Marian had only taken her blinders off, I think she would have disccvered a man who would have adored her and only her and been a loving and protective father.
Guy tends to wear his feelings on his sleeve, as we say here. It is hard for him to hide these emotions, I think. His passionate nature is part of what makes him such a compelling (and sexy) character.
They really do. It’s amazing how he summons up all these intense savage emotions, what with him being a basically sweet-natured, affable guy. Must be a good way to exorcise any dark passengers of the soul.
It is really amazing that he can do these dark, angry and/or disturbed characters so well. The actor who played the werewolf in the British Being Human had the most pathetic, little girl scream when he was being the wolf. Can you imagine how impressive Richard would be as a werewolf!! Roar! I’m wondering where he practiced those roars. He might have scared the neighbors!!
Oh, yes, George’s wolf howl was a bit on the wimpy side, wasn’t it?? Richard would make an amazing werewolf. Think of some of those Lucas and Porter moments, too. Eyes flashing, teeth bared and gleaming . . . sorry Alcide in TB, but RA would definitely be the sexiest member of the pack.
There is still plenty of open space in the UK and I assume in Hungary where he could have practiced in the open air. Might have given the wildlife a bit of a turn, but no problem with neighbors. (I remember one fellow who would go out to the end of a pier on Puget Sound (by Seattle, Washington) to practice on the bagpipes…)
*giggle* I recall jammin’ down the highway singing along with “The Ode to Joy” full voice and catching a glimpse of another driver’s expression as he passed me. So maybe in the car, except that I don’t know if he was driving himself in NZ or had a car and driver at his disposal. (He’d no doubt scare the driver witless.)
Oh, yes, “hungry like a wolf”, howling at the full moon… (Remember wolves mate for life and make good parents, too.)
So, humans could learn a thing or two from wolves…*sigh*
Fellas probably reluctantly looks at this example.;)

Very sensible of them (I mean the wolves breeding only when they can feed their young!)..
I thought only humans and bonobos engaged in sexual activities for pleasure only.

Pretty convincing evidence!
LOL probably so!!

I think you’re right. Much as I like Lucy Griffiths, Silly Marian! At least in fanfic, this side of Guy shows up quite a bit.
I suspect if Lucy had had her way, Marian would have been much more open to Guy’s overtures.
I love when Guy is mad and desperate,at least you can see feelings…not like the other one(Scarecrow)!;)

Richard’s primal screams are always very convincing and they shake you to the core!

Yes in the forests surrounding Budapest where they shot RH, he must have had plenty of opportunity to practice his primal screams!
IMHO he’s practising in the car
..just like me…I’m singing(very loudly) and roaring, I love that!:D
