I bet thermal imaging would show a significant increase in neural activity in certain areas. It would probably be worth a paper on the *thud* effect. Show pictures of RA to one group, pictures of other actors to another, and random pictures of animals, landscapes, etc. to the control group. Be sure each subject pool matched demographically, then look at the thermal scans. I’d lay good odds that we’d see “the Armitage effect.”
I’d love to see a paper on the Armitage Effect, Leigh! Wish you could conduct the experiment! Can we be the control group?
