Just Because It’s My Blog and I Can

About fedoralady

I'm an LA native--Lower Alabama, that is. My husband of more than 30 years and I live here on a portion of my family's former farm with two gorgeous calicos and a handsome GSD mix. My background is art education, and over the years I've been a teacher, department store photographer, sales associate and a journalist. My husband, his business partner and I have Pecan Ridge Productions, a video production company, for which I shoot & edit video and stills and manage marketing. I also still write part-time for the local paper. I love movies, music, art, photography and books, and my tastes in all of them are eclectic.

    • From what I’ve seen (and I have seen a lot of him) 😉 not much spare fat.

He has a lean, athletic build to begin with; he has worked out for certain roles which has increased his muscle mass. This photo is from Spooks 9 when he still had some of his Porter muscle. Makes the tattoos look even more–fascinating. *thud*

      • Yes, he’s definitely a lot musclier here than in Season 7. Poor darling he did look a bit undernourished in Season 7. Never cared for tattoos myself but you’re right they sure look fascinating on him. 🙂

        • You know he lost a stone before S7. I wanted to take Lucas home and feed him something mourishing in S7. It was a shock to see him that lean after Guy. Yeah, I confess I was really envious of the makeup artists who got to apply those transfers to Richard’s skin. 😉

          • Yes, exactly, that would be a dream job wouldn’t it!!! The best job in the world (I would def. choose that over trying out beaches for 6 months or whatever it was that was deemed to be the best job in the world). Applying those tattoos for hours on end on his naked torso…*thud*

          • First hurdle to overcome would be to keep your hands steady in the vicinity of such male perfection! To be honest I don’t think I would be able to do that, I would be shaking like a leaf on a tree. How on Earth did the make-up ladies manage to keep their cool? Admirable. 🙂

          • It suddenly dawned on me why it took 2 hours to apply those tats! Because the make up ladies “accidentally” kept making mistakes! Ohmygod I think I’m obsessed with those tats!
