My first crush on an actor was born in the Ritz Theatre in my hometown when I was five years old. The movie my family went to see was Thunderball, the fourth film in the Bond franchise.
I thought this larger-than-life man with the entrancing foreign accent was pretty cute. And as the years passed, he just got more and more attractive.
Kind of like someone else I know.

I think you love british actors very much and you have good taste. They have class. But I didn’t like Sean Connery’s hairy chest (beuh). One the other hand, Mr. A’s chest is incomparably gorgeous and deliciously smooth.
I do love British actors, both the less-glamourous character actors and the handsome ones like Richard and Sir Sean. Leigh and I have been wondering if Richard is taking a break from waxing his chest while shooting The Hobbit. I don’t think he has a lot of chest hair even when he doesn’t wax it–nothing like Sean! 😉
On the AA boards, they have chest specialists. They make me laugh ! True, he hasn’t a lot but in series Strike Back our specialists have counted some (I don’t know if my sentence is correct)
I wasn’t surprised to see he let them sprout back out for Strike Back. Somehow I can’t see Porter as the type to wax. 🙂

Even my husband once said, “This may sound odd for a heterosexual male to say, but I think Sean Connery has gotten better looking over the years.” 😉 Oh, I have a connection to Sir Sean. I once worked with a lady named Thelma who was originally from Edinburgh and her sister had actually dated Sean Connery (back before he was Bond). It’s a small world!
I’ve always had a penchant for dark-haired British actors; Sean Connery, Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan (technically Irish but close enough!) and now Richard, my biggest crush of all. 🙂
