Want to make TAE a better place? Share your ideas!

Almost 16,000 views now here at the blog, with 2,653 comments and counting. Again, I say “thank you” for your support.
When I decided, after a lot of thought, to finally take the plunge and start my own blog earlier this month, I felt a bit like someone who has planned a big party. The food and music and decorations were all in place, but will anybody actually show up?

Turns out, you did. ๐Ÿ˜€

I’ve already received some great suggestions from various readers through your comments, but I am always open to new ideas. Please let me know what you have enjoyed the most and what types of posts you would like to see more of. I know the polls have proved popular; if you have ideas for future polls, I would love to hear them.

I plan to continue to share about books, music and films I have enjoyed that aren’t necessarily linked to Richard, but are definitely worthy of your time. And TAE Word for the Day also seems to have fans.

I also plan to continue to spotlight some of Richard’s lesser-known/smaller roles each Sunday, as suggested to me by Leigh. And of course, daily eye candy. That goes without saying. And if you liked my poeticย tribute to his thighs and want me to continue with other parts of his anatomy–let me know.

If there are any particular aspects of Richard’s acting career, a role you’d like to see him undertake, actors with whom you’d like to see him perform–really, no subject is off the table other than digging into the man’s private life–I would love to hear from you.

And if you are lurking out there, please feel free to “jump in with the other ladies” and share your thoughts and ideas.
After all, this blog is for you, the readers, this part of the greater whole of “our little community.” It is, I believe, a friendly, congenial place, where you can find nourishment, nurturing and a not inconsiderable degree of fun.

And again, thanks.

Richard gives us a thumbs-up to say, "Carry on, members of our little community!"

About fedoralady

I'm an LA native--Lower Alabama, that is. My husband of more than 30 years and I live here on a portion of my family's former farm with two gorgeous calicos and a handsome GSD mix. My background is art education, and over the years I've been a teacher, department store photographer, sales associate and a journalist. My husband, his business partner and I have Pecan Ridge Productions, a video production company, for which I shoot & edit video and stills and manage marketing. I also still write part-time for the local paper. I love movies, music, art, photography and books, and my tastes in all of them are eclectic.

  1. I’d really like to thank YOU for creating this blog. It’s such a nice, warm, friendly place to share our thoughts. I don’t have any suggestions right this minute but I’ll think about it.

  2. I don’t know how to say in english but in french I would say “On est chez nous chez vous”. I like the variety and all the subjects are welcome. BTW, I liked reading “thoughts on the true North”.

  3. I am so happy every day to find another posting on your blog Angie and I am so thankful you started one. Kathryngaul said it perfectly, – “It’s such a nice, warm, friendly” place to come to as I feel I am among friends and we are all part of that wonderful “little community” of like-minded admirers of such a wonderful man – Richard Armitage. It is all because of him that we have become friends (and I don’t say that in a trivial way as that is how I feel) and why blogs such as this exist!! I’m sure I speak for many when I say you keep us going, dear Fedoralady and brighten our days!! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Awww, Teuchter, you are making me blush, too! And I agree. I feel I have made some real, true friends of like-minded ladies through the fandom. Or fellow nutty women as my hubby likes to tease! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I am glad to know I make a positive difference in other people’s lives.

  4. First thing in the morning, last thing at night, I check in here, and quite often throughout the day as well, because I love it here. Thankyou Angie. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Mezz, you know when I mentioned Skype the other day….you do know it’s a free download, don’t you?

And local calls as well as interstate and international calls to people who don’t have Skype are cheaper than they are through most phone companies. You can just buy $15 worth of credit at any time – I use that service to call my siblings (none of whom has Skype) in QLD.

  5. When I read the title of this post in my inbox, my first thought was, how can you make TAE a better place, it’s perfect as it is! ๐Ÿ™‚ I love everything about it! Polls are fun! Your poems are fun! The vids are great! I like the OT posts as well, always interesting! Thank you for inviting me here!

  6. You rock the blog, lady!
I love polls, poems, candies and reviews. Whatever you post.

I would to underline your last sentence: “After all, this blog is for you, the readers”, this is your key feature. Some blogs are for mostly for bloggers, but yours is really open and friendly, ironic and …not too serious!!

  7. I agree with all of the ladies! I love checking into your blog. I check in at least once or twice a day (often more). I really enjoy getting to share my obsession with other like minded folks. Above all, I think we’re all having a great time… Keep up the great work!

  8. Even though I can’t get access as often as I’d like, I love your blog. As far as I can see, you’re doing everything right! We’ll talk when I have more liberty.
