Super Secret Agent Saturday continues . . . John Portah, my hero

Standard

OK, my computer temporarily died last night when the (new) battery hit empty and refused to re-charge via power card..  After fiddling around with it, it looks like the black box part of the charger has a short. A new one has been ordered, and in the meantime, I am sitting here with said box perched on my chest, which seems to keep it working. Infer from that what you will. Fingers crossed. At any rate, I have some more JP for you. Enjoy!

John Porter, a savior for damsels in distress and orphans in peril. When trouble calls, you want John Porter to answer.

A man who has proven his worth to a doubter.

Underneath the tough, no-nonsense soldier exterior beats the heart of a good man sent by God.

John Porter is so terrific, even nuns can't resist him. We certainly can't.

About fedoralady

I'm an LA native--Lower Alabama, that is. My husband of more than 30 years and I live here on a portion of my family's former farm with two gorgeous calicos and a handsome GSD mix. My background is art education, and over the years I've been a teacher, department store photographer, sales associate and a journalist. My husband, his business partner and I have Pecan Ridge Productions, a video production company, for which I shoot & edit video and stills and manage marketing. I also still write part-time for the local paper. I love movies, music, art, photography and books, and my tastes in all of them are eclectic.

  1. Hello ladies,

I’m a new one on this blog. I discovered RA in Dec. 2010 and became and addict soon after 🙂

These pics show really well the goodness Porter has underneath the tough surface. Plus Richard is so beautiful! It still takes me more than an hour and a half to watch one story as I’m constantly pausing and zooming and admiring his beauty and gorgeousness 😉

I like this second story very much but the first story still remains my favourite.

    • Welcome, Cristine. Know you are among friends and fellow addicts. 😉
Yes, I truly felt Porter was a good man sent by God as the nun had hoped, just as RA is a fabulous actor and beautiful human being sent into our lives. *sigh* I think there is something new to appreciate about Richard every time we look at a photo or video or show. So much beauty and character and talent and intelligence and humor in one man.

  2. Hi Christine. 🙂 The first strike back story is my favourite too.

John Portah, irrestible to naughty MI-6 ‘nurses’, nuns and all of us.

I’m not one to court trouble, but if he was on call to rescue me I fear I would be reckless rather a lot. 😉

  3. I love JP too! Why, oh, why did they have to kill him off? He was such a great character. And of course Richard played him so well. The new version…I couldn’t even watch the whole first episode…terrible!

  4. Forged on a northern housing estate (okay a midlands housing estate) but who’s quibbling AL never spoke truer words lol
