Seeing these beautiful vistas and knowing my favorite actor is experiencing that breathtaking beauty for himself. The thought of it makes me smile and think of his own grand horizons.
The joy of performing live on stage and entertaining the audience. These little girls singing during a number at last year’s arts council benefit remind me of young Richard and early performing experiences.
Beautiful photos again. And, yes, isn’t it wonderful how a man we don’t know can make us feel happy?
Our ABC has just started showing “Spooks” series 7 again and I’m watching it again on ABC iView (like BBC iPlayer) as it’s being shown at 11.35pm Mondays!!! I get 2 weeks to watch things on iView.
The ABC has also started showing Richard’s “Strike Back” (THE ONLY REAL ONE!!) again at 9.30pm Saturdays, straight after “Spooks” series 10 – so I’m watching those when shown.
You begin to realize just how obsessed I am with Richard Armitage when you remember that I own “Spooks” series 7 – 9 and “Strike Back” on DVD and yet still choose to watch them again on television!!
Listen, when they showed re-runs of RH 2 here before airing S3 I watched them and I had already watched on BBCA and I had the DVDs. There’s just something about seeing him on telly–you see, here it is so rare we do see him. The only thing that has aired on television here is Robin Hood. Well, years ago PBS aired North & South, but that was long before the Armitage Effect had gotten hold of me and I didn’t see it. As far as I know nothing else has aired other than Spooks on some PBS stations and ours here have never gotten before the fourth or fifth series. 😦 I really do envy a bit those of you who can count on regular opportunities to see his various roles without firing up the DVD player.
I have literally thousands of photos I took in the course of my work and for my personal use and so I figure I should share some of them with you. 😀
Although I have got everything except RA’s two episodes of Doctors on DVD, I still watch him everytime any show that he was in is repeated on TV too.
Even Homes From Hell, which I recorded the first time round and is, unlike a lot of his programmes, repeated quite often.
It’s a way to show our commitment to all things RA and to keep on Richarding!! 😀
I believe they have shown most of the series (Robin Hood, Sppoks, N&S (several times), VoD, to name a few) in our TV in Finland. I missed them completely as I don’t have a television any more. When they changed the system from analog to digital, I decided not to buy any device to receive the broadcasts. (I still have two TV monitors for watching DVD’s.)
As I don’t have a TV, I sometimes (rarely!) watch programmes on the TV website. I was searching for something else and and just happended to notice N&S there. Usually, I watch just the beginng of a show and then find an excuse not to watch it any longer. But when I started to watch N&S, I just HAD TO watch it all in one sitting. What if I hadn’t been there then? I would still be unaware of RA! How many things in life happen by chance? I*m so thankful every day for having discovered Richard, the MOST TALENTED actor and an incredibly BEAUTIFUL person – inside and out!
I think that things often happen for a reason. Surely you were meant to meet Richard that day. 😀 I remember when I got my N&S DVD (by then I had fallen for him as Guy) I watched the whole thing in one sitting. 😉
I had ordered Sparkhouse and the Vicar of Dibley, and when I finished watching them all I was simply blown away at how versatile a performer he was, on top of that beauty and charisma. I confess I even started looking for things I didn’t like about him because I was surprised at this huge crush I had on him. Only I never really found anything. He’s sweet, modest, intelligent, funny, generous, thoughtful==what’s not to love??
I really am obsessed, I’m now trying to read his palm and I don’t know anything about palm reading! But his lifeline looks quite long and well-defined, apparently it means (surprise!) that he’s likely to have a long life! Fingers crossed! 🙂 It’s probably all nonsense anyway (palm reading that is!).
Gorgeous pics as usual, Angie, dear! 🙂
Thanks. 😀 Now, you are the first person I know of who is trying to read his palm, but why not? He has such beautiful hands, they are a pleasure to study, and it’s nice to think of him living a long, fruitful and happy life. 😀
This morning I went with a friend to the location in Cornwall where I moved Lucas and Guy to in one of the fanfics I wrote (and am thinking of writing a brief sequel to).
Sitting in a cafe overlooking the beach, I looked up at the house that was the inspiration for the house that I ‘gave’ them and a very lucky lady in the fic and within seconds a huge grin was plastered all over my face.
“You do like it here, don’t you?” My friend asked, seeing my smile and loved up look.
If only she knew what I was thinking at that moment! *blush*
Isn’t it extraordinary how Richard does pop into our minds and in such ways that our friends and families would be astonished? 😀
