LadyBlogger (as dear Carla has dubbed me) has had a very, very lazy day. As in studying the inside of her eyelids a LOT. Mr. LadyBlogger has done the same, it seems, at the other end of the house. A certain fuzzy feline named Puddin’ has kept him company, whilst a charming calico has curled up with her mom.
Poor ol’ Puddie and I both have allergies, and her lovely green eyes are tearing up today just like her mama’s (like mother, like daughter?) If they itch as much as mine have been doing, I truly commiserate. Ah, Spring! Beautiful, beautiful but it does have its downside. At any rate, this household seems to be channeling a drugged Sir Guy . . . I think I see a certain resemblance. (screencaps courtesy of Richard Armitage Central and Richard Armitage Net)
LOL! Poor Sir Guy, floored by the “events of life” one more time and once again in need of a good shampoo and conditioner!! 😉
Bless his heart, he takes a knockin’ and keeps on rockin’ that’s our darling Sir Guy! 😀
Can I be the one who does washes it?? Please? Please? Pretty please?? I promise I’ll do a good job and be a VERY good girl!! 😉
I think we’d need another queue. Give him a good wash and shampoo and scalp massage . . . and then get him all dirty and sweaty again. And then another bath and shampoo . . . and then more good dirty fun . . . 😉
Don’t forget the body lotion ! His skin needs to be hydrated and nourished after all those baths and shampoos !
Imagine applying body lotion in a circular motion to all his parts of his body, giving him a nice massage at the same time. Mmmmmmmmmm ….
… to all parts ..
I’m in the queue, with a basket full of L’Occitaine goodies, a big bath sponge, and assorted treats.
Oh, yes, a nice rich lotion. Something with lots of cocoa butter, perhaps? 😀
A lazy day with Guy getting dirty in a forest, followed by a very busy time getting clean again. Sounds like my idea of a perfect day!
So long as Blobbin Snr. and his annoying petulant son find a child friendly corner of the Trip Inn Gardens for their family reunion. LOL
Blobbin is like a medieval Kieran in some ways, isn’t he? 😉 I wanted to throttle both of them. In fact, when Guy was attempting to do just that to Blobbin, I think I might have been cheering . . .
I think I was too. And when Guy threw him off that cliff. And I seem to recall muttering something like: “Go on, do it! Do it!” at the screen when Guy had his sword raised ready to ‘make doubly sure’ Blobbin was really dead in s2 ep8 too. 😉
Never before in my life have I cheered on the “bad guy” the way I did Guy in RH. Totally on the Dark Side . . . *evil grin*
Ladies I just found this quote from Richard Armitage (possibly many of you have already seen it) but I was so impressed I want to share it. I hope “Caroline” from whose site I snaffled this doesn’t mind as she obviously loves him too. The more of these quotes I read the more I am blown away by him!!

You will see there is a LOT about Richard on her site/blog! 🙂
Caroline’s tumblr pages are well worth a regular visit, and I have saved her to my favourites. I especially love the quotes page.
Teuchter, I too get more blown away by Richard the more I read about what he has to say. Your link is to a quote I don’t recall reading before, and I have read most of Richard’s interviews that I’m aware of.
It would appear that he has had to conquer self-doubt and a lack of confidence along the way to becoming the actor we see today, and I admire him so much for his strength of character and persistence in pursuing his dreams.
This is my comment, looks like WP is playing up again!
I think the quotes serve to further illustrate why we have good reason to admire this man far beyond his physical beauty and even his talent. There are talented, gifted people who ultimately squander what they’ve been given through self-indulgence, laziness or crippling self-doubt amongst other reasons.
Richard has worked hard for many years, and whilst there were times he thought about the possibilty of giving up when his career seemed to be stalling out, thank the good Lord he didn’t. I think overcoming that fear of auditions, by going in as the character of Standring for Sparkhouse and winning the role in spite of the fact he didn’t look like “the type” in real life was a major turning point for him.
I think the confidence he gained in bringing John S. to life helped lead him to John T. and the first role of a lifetime . . . and now look where he is, working for one of the world’s most acclaimed directors in a dream role in what are certain to be two major blockbusters. But he is still sweet, modest, lovely Richard and I truly don’t think that is going to change. He’s learned from the struggles and he’s grown wiser and stronger from it all. I believe I have said before he is a good role model in many ways. Beauty, brains, talent and a truly good good man to boot. What’s not to love?
As you said he worked so hard and Beloved Richard deserves all his dreams come true
He does indeed. He is living proof that the old saying “nice guys finish last” is not always true. 😀
That is so perfect Angie! Well said! I find myself feeling so proud of him as if he were family and I think you have already voiced a similar sentiment! He is just precious.
Indeed, what’s not to love?
Awesome quote! Richard is such an intriguing man! He is a person who constantly grows and improves. I wish I had his guts! I have been to her sight once and read some quotes. This time I’ve added it to my favorites.
Added it to my favs, too, Laurie. It’s a great place to get a quick fix on some great Richard quotes. And the more I learn of him, the more interesting and appealing and admirable I find him.
I absolutely love each and every one of those quotes. Now matter how many times I read them, my heart still does major loved-up flutters. 🙂
I agree, Vicki. 😀
“Major loved-up flutters” That’s a great phrase for what my heart does too, Vicki! 🙂
I hope you and baby’s allergies get better soon!
Thanks. 😀 The March winds doth blow and blow all sorts of fun stuff that flares our “sensitive and delicate” natures (as my husband likes to say LOL) Puddie is well into her teens now and like her mama, some days are better than others. I love the ol’ fuzzy thing to pieces, you know. 😉
Hope you have enjoyed your lazy day, angie, that’s what Sundays are for! 🙂
Well, we all–cats and humans alike–were certainly lazy!! 😉
I hope both you and Puddie are doing better now! I had the laziest of weekends too, even on Sat I didn’t do anything and I was supposed to be working!
Thank you, my right eye is still giving me some grief. Puddie seems to be better.
