Here are some Photoshop creations using pix of our lovely fellow back in his musical theatre days performing in Cats. At least, I think they are all photos of RA. We know those are his prize thighs in the larger group shot, and I do believe I recognize his distinctive thumb in the more close-up photo. (And if the head shot isn’t Richard, then Kathryngaul is going to be right upset. So it had better be . . .)
An Armitage Cat is the sleekest of cats, an Armitage Cat is the biggest of cats,
An Armitage Cat is the graceful-est cat, an Armitage Cat is the charming-est cat,
An Armitage Cat does not wear a hat, is not a bit fat, and that is, well–THAT.
*with sincerest apologies to T.S. Eliot and, quite possibly, Dr. Seuss*
Oh, to see that tall, beautiful, elegant drink of water dance t’would be a dream come true . . . actually to see him in anything would be a dream come true righr now, *sigh* Let’s see, how many days ’til the publicity blitz starts for The Hobbit? Or maybe another videoblog? The discovery of a previously unseen photograph? Hello. PR people, can you hear me? Hint, hint, wink, wink, nudge, nudge . . .
Yes, yes, yessss, please Sir Peter… we’re starving here!
Are you OK Angie? Having trouble sleeping again? 😦
The humidity is quite high and it’s just cool enough that my joints are flared up. My knees in particular. I just took something for pain. I don’t like taking the pain meds and muscle relazers any more than I have to, but sometimes I have to (and thankfully those particular meds are not expensive even without insurance). As Benny said earlier, my internal clock is all out of whack.
Oh dear Angie, I’m really sorry to hear that! I’ve been taking pain meds for my neck and shoulder for the past week or so and I’m beginning to think maybe it’s about time I see a doctor about it because it just doesn’t seem to go away..
Angie and Judit, I hope you both feel better very soon *hugs*
Thank you Mezz! 🙂
Sorry you haven’t been feeling well. I must say, I don’t see think the top picture looks like RA at all, whereas I can definitely see the resemblance in the other two.
With apologies to kathryn, I keep looking for a resemblance, but I have to agree with Phylly on this one. 😦 The costuming looks more modern than 1994’s was. Was it tagged as RA on the gravatar site?
I think I originally saw it on some blog–can’t remember which–and so it showed up on Google images under “Richard Armitage.” The poster indicated that is was “Maybe” RA. I tend to agree, I don’t think it is him (sorry, Kathryngaul!!) although the makeup doesn’t make it easy to determine. The jawline looks wrong to me. And we don’t have the hands or thighs to help confirm or deny the identity.
wrong nose, too.
Yeah. Wonder who it actually is under there?
Thanks, Phylly, and I think I have to agree. The more I look at it, I don’t think that is Richard in the first photo.
Please feel better ladies. And keep happy thoughts through the pain, like a certain tall drink of water dressed up as a cat dancing around with you or perhaps a certain tall drink of water, no make up or costume, dancing the salsa with you. Good thoughts, good thoughts. lol
Sounds heavenly, gracie! Feeling better already! 🙂
Oh, those are very good thoughts. I am imagining those slinky snake hips of his in tight black trousers, the flash of those dazzling teeth–oh, better stop there.
Oh Angie and Judit, take a dose of Richard and hopefully you will feel better soon!
Yes, frequent and large doses are advised. No contraindications, no danger of OD…
IMDB it, that one picture is the Tugger and that’s not him.
Thanks, yes, general consensus is this is not Richard. Wrong jaw, nose–his are very distinctive. 😉
