I think we all have a crush on this “so, so British and too cute” guy from BBC’s Cbeebies. Perhaps I would sleep better if Storytelling Richard would visit me each night and tell me a wonderful story, before tucking me into bed with a “night, night, sleep tight” . . . then again, I might be a trifle too “stirred” to sleep. Then again, perhaps I would have some really interesting dreams once Morpheus did claim me.

(BTW, for the first time in days I was actually asleep when my husband prepared for work –he often finds me still awake–and I have no memory of hearing him moving about this morning. I slept until noon. Given when I fell asleep, that was a bit more than eight hours. The most sleep I have had in days. Nice.)
Oooh some of those symptoms of sleep deprivation are truly scary!!! But I’m glad that you managed to get 8 hours of sleep! How are you feeling now? Funny, funny captions again! Your sense of humour has certainly not been affected by the lack of sleep! 🙂
I sincerely hope I never lose my sense of humor. It’s what keeps me propped up at times. 😉 Glad you liked the captions and thanks for the good wishes.
When he says, “Night, night, sleep tight!”, I get shivers all over!
I’m glad you managed to get a good night sleep:)
Thank you, Laurie. 😀
OOOOOOOOOOOOO!! I DO like that last picture and the caption that went with it! I found myself making a rather evil-sounding cackle because of how he does that “looking up under his eyebrows” thing!! I find him so adorable reading the Cbeebies stories as he puts so much into them, voicing all the various characters! 🙂
I’m so happy you finally got some quality sleep! You certainly needed it! And it does help our bodies and our minds as your diagram shows. Hope you get a lot more! 🙂
That is a very teasing and rather seductive look for a man reading bedtime stories, isn’t it? 😉 He is an absolute delight in those clips. You can tell he thoroughly enjoys telling those stories. It’s like he is reliving a bit of his childhood. 😉 Thank you for the good wishes. I remember very well a chapter in my abnormal psych class about sleep deprivation and a study they conducted with volunteers. There were before, during and after photos of the subjects. By the end of the study, these nice, normal-looking people resembled either zombies or axe murderers. 😦
I dare say any woman who doesn’t fall madly in love with this guy after watching these clips is made of wood. 🙂
Or have mental issues or is a lesbian.
I think with THAT look (last picture) he could even turn lesbians into straight women and straight guys into gay men! Who on Earth could resist him???
I love the goofiness of his storytelling. He’s an absolute delight, as you say.
Good to hear you got some sleep, Angie. 🙂
His goofy, geeky side just endears him all the more to me. I love those photos of him dancing in the blue suit and white shirt from the Cold Feet shoot–he looks like he is having so much fun.
Hahaha! Great captions and adorable photoshopping. Which program are you using? Is it Photoshop?
Thank you, Phylly, yes, it is Photoshop Elements 10. My husband and I have been taking a class. I have had to miss a couple of sessions but he is trying to keep me up to speed (he’s the real techo wiz in the family). It is a lot of fun and I am amazed at all the things you can do. He also has Premiere Elements, which is the video version of Photoshop. Maybe I will tackle learning that at some point.
Love the photos and captions! That last is enough to send me running for bed, sure enough. 🙂
