Vacation all I ever wanted . . . more fun with Photoshop

Standard

I think there’s one repeat here and then the others are new creations. Not having an awful lot of color photos from my childhood, I have to jazz up the black and white ones a bit. 😉  Lots of fun. Lots of memories. Time for breakfast and a nap. I know, naps are supposed to be in the afternoons, but I am just contrary-minded.

About fedoralady

I'm an LA native--Lower Alabama, that is. My husband of more than 30 years and I live here on a portion of my family's former farm with two gorgeous calicos and a handsome GSD mix. My background is art education, and over the years I've been a teacher, department store photographer, sales associate and a journalist. My husband, his business partner and I have Pecan Ridge Productions, a video production company, for which I shoot & edit video and stills and manage marketing. I also still write part-time for the local paper. I love movies, music, art, photography and books, and my tastes in all of them are eclectic.

  1. I’m glad you have fun with photoshop !
Recently I’ve scanned hundreds of family photos lying around in shoe boxes into my computer. It bring back memories and flashbacks of events I’ve forgotten or haven’t thought about a while. It’s a strange feeling to remember where we were or what we were doing …
BTW are you feeling a little better Angie ?

    • Well, the sleep certainly helped.:D My breakout along the hairline and on my temples has finally stopped itching and looks a little less red. My nausea has improved.
Yes, going through old photos can bring back a regular flood of memories, sometimes good, sometimes not so good. I feel sad at times when I look at all the family members we have lost, but I also cherish the happy times we had together.

  2. Be a clever cat… Nap whenever you wish. It’s good for you. What you did with these photos is lovely. You’re getting good at this fast!
