No I haven’t disappeared . . . .

Standard

I have no computer access at home and the battery is about to go on this laptop. See you when things get straightened out. Back to my meal at Mickey D’s.

About fedoralady

I'm an LA native--Lower Alabama, that is. My husband of more than 30 years and I live here on a portion of my family's former farm with two gorgeous calicos and a handsome GSD mix. My background is art education, and over the years I've been a teacher, department store photographer, sales associate and a journalist. My husband, his business partner and I have Pecan Ridge Productions, a video production company, for which I shoot & edit video and stills and manage marketing. I also still write part-time for the local paper. I love movies, music, art, photography and books, and my tastes in all of them are eclectic.

  1. No hurry, we’ll be here when you get back! Hope you have been able to recharge your own batteries as well that of the laptop! πŸ™‚

    • I was in so much pain when I got home MOnday night that I admit I pretty much took Tuesday off trying to recover. So maybe it was just as well I didn’t have the Internet access. Although it frustrated me tremendously.

  2. I have been relying on you and TAE like one does a good friend. No pressure though, just a wonderful part of the my day. Glad you are doing alright and the tech problem is not a serious one. Enjoy your dinner/evening.

    • It’s just frustrating when you suddenly lose your Internet and it then it takes days for them to sort out the problem. I am glad to know I help brighten y’all’s days.

  3. Angie don’t worry. I’ve guessed you had some problems with your laptop or internet.

  4. I hope your access is restored quickly, Angie! Myself I get pretty antsy if I can’t get online at least once a day. πŸ™‚ Enjoy the break from typing tho!

      • Ah ha, so you did manage to get in some quality time with RA (photos anyway). Can’t wait to see what you’ve cooked up for us, and glad you’re back!

  5. Glad you’re ok. And Teuchter is right, we have an Angie drought to go along with our Richard one!! As you can see, you are missed. It’s amazing how soon this site turned into a daily visit for me and for many other ladies as well.

    • Thanks, Laurie, glad to be back. I told Benny I was concerned because I knew you all would be worried and I hate worrying people unnecessarily. My laptop had almost exhausted all battery power before our class was over Monday night but I was able to get that one post up while we were at McDonald’s. Hooray for free wi-fi. πŸ™‚

  6. Put me down as another TAE addict πŸ™‚ Can’t remember what life was like before the internet and RA πŸ™‚
