Because sometimes you just need a dose of cute guy

Standard

Lee Pace at Comic-Con a couple of years ago.  Cheekbones to die for.

We’re having lines of thunderstorms–yes, remnants of Isaac, believe it or not–moving through tonight, interrupting our plans to watch Coma when the weather knocked out the satellite signal (and the internet) for a while.  I was trying to do some straightening up earlier and managed to twist my back and my ankle–in typical klutzy fashion–so out came the ice pack.  Anyway, the electricity is still with us for now after a brief flirtation with going out and the internet connection is back. And so I share some Lee Pace/Richard Armitage cuteness. Can’t wait to see Thranduil and Thorin on the big screen come December!

Oh, those eyes, that smile, those hands. And did I mention the biceps?

Lee Pace imitating the bulldog. Or maybe the bulldog is imitating Lee Pace?

Richard as Harry K. in the VoD sketch.

About fedoralady

I'm an LA native--Lower Alabama, that is. My husband of more than 30 years and I live here on a portion of my family's former farm with two gorgeous calicos and a handsome GSD mix. My background is art education, and over the years I've been a teacher, department store photographer, sales associate and a journalist. My husband, his business partner and I have Pecan Ridge Productions, a video production company, for which I shoot & edit video and stills and manage marketing. I also still write part-time for the local paper. I love movies, music, art, photography and books, and my tastes in all of them are eclectic.

  1. I love the thought bubble for Richard in that one pic. I can totally relate. I’m ALWAYS in the back of photos. Yes, I’m shy, but I’m in the back because I’m taller than everyone else.

    • 😀 When I first saw that photo that is what immediately came to mind. “Gee, people, can’t you all see WHY I tend to hang back?” Benny is just six feet tall and he tends to do the same thing. I am sure it’s sort of conditioned in you from childhood–posing for group photos, tall kids to the back, short kids on the front. That’s why I don’t have a problem with him doing that–I figure it’s a combination of being that tall since he was 14, good manners and a degree of shyness. Makes sense to me!

  2. Lee is rather cute and seems like a really nice guy. I’m glad he and Richard got to work together and think it’s quite likely Lee helped him with the accent for Black Sky! 🙂

    • Lee is a cutie and a darling and shares certain personality traits with RA–shy, modest, very committed to his work, sweet-natured. And yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Lee gave him some pointers on the accent. 😉

  3. Sorry about the thunderstorms and the effects I know they must be having.

*chuckling* I still look at the CBeebies cap and can’t help smiling. Harry makes me smile, too, even though it’s a less-than-appealing morning.

  4. I love that photo of Richard towering above everyone else. Richard is modest yes, but I really do not believe that he is shy. Lee Pace is a good looking man.

    • Oh, yes, the floppy fringe falling across his forehead, just begging to be pushed back with your fingers . . . Yeah, I found that photo of Lee on Twitter and just had to share. 😉
