  1. The first image took my breath away, too! The others are wonderful, Angie. But that first one … simply wow.

There is so much more to him than his physical beauty. Perhaps it’s because we’ve seen the intensity and single-minded attentiveness that he brings to everything he does that we see more — depth, soul — when we look at his image?

Thanks for a terrific start to the day. 😉

    • That’s one of my favorite images of Guy. Bless his heart, he’s just been thwarted yet again, and still he’s regal and proud and so beautiful standing there whilst Vasey berates him.

I definitely think that our knowledge and experience of Richard as a person–as a dedicated, detailed actor at work and behind the scenes, as such a thoughtful and intelligent interviewee, as the author of those delightful messages he’s shared over the years–makes us see so much more than just what’s on the surface.

  2. Black and white is classy, elegant and timeless, and suits Richard perfectly. Sepia on the other hand adds so beautifully to images of his chaRActers that, like the others here, they take my breath away.

    • Yes, I have always loved B&W photography and films, they have a certain beauty all their own. The sepia seems to bring a new dimension, which is why I find myself going back to it again and again. I really do love what you can create with it.

      • I’m getting to love your sepia pics more and more. As with black and white ones there is something in Richard’s beauty that lends itself to them. Maybe you’ll have to post them with a health warning. “Looking at these pictures can cause shortness of breath, palpitations, loss of muscle control and of course the VSA’s”! 😉
