The first image took my breath away, too! The others are wonderful, Angie. But that first one … simply wow.
There is so much more to him than his physical beauty. Perhaps it’s because we’ve seen the intensity and single-minded attentiveness that he brings to everything he does that we see more — depth, soul — when we look at his image?
That’s one of my favorite images of Guy. Bless his heart, he’s just been thwarted yet again, and still he’s regal and proud and so beautiful standing there whilst Vasey berates him.
I definitely think that our knowledge and experience of Richard as a person–as a dedicated, detailed actor at work and behind the scenes, as such a thoughtful and intelligent interviewee, as the author of those delightful messages he’s shared over the years–makes us see so much more than just what’s on the surface.
Black and white is classy, elegant and timeless, and suits Richard perfectly. Sepia on the other hand adds so beautifully to images of his chaRActers that, like the others here, they take my breath away.
Yes, I have always loved B&W photography and films, they have a certain beauty all their own. The sepia seems to bring a new dimension, which is why I find myself going back to it again and again. I really do love what you can create with it.
I’m getting to love your sepia pics more and more. As with black and white ones there is something in Richard’s beauty that lends itself to them. Maybe you’ll have to post them with a health warning. “Looking at these pictures can cause shortness of breath, palpitations, loss of muscle control and of course the VSA’s”! 😉
These are beautiful Angie Thank You. The first Guy one takes my breath away, I’m speechless!!
Working with his images just never grows tiring. So much beauty and so much more than that, too, somehow.

Thanks for a terrific start to the day. 😉

What you do with sepia ought to be illegal, it’s so enchanting.
Hooray for sepia. 😉

That’s in addition to the warning that this is highly addictive.
On both ends. To create and to look at.
The soldier’s neck.. Mmmmm…The Guy pic (first one) is truly like a painting. Wonderful!!
That is such a noshable neck, isn’t it? Glad you liked the pics. 😀
