Scary or sweet, clean or dirty, you thrill me, Sir Guy!

Damn, he does clean up well.

That magnificent masculine “hooter” sniffs out Eau de Forest Boy . . . poor Guy’s nose.

Ah, yes, Wild-Eyed Drunken Man with a Tangled Dirty Mane. My ovaries don’t work anymore and they still explode. Must. have. him. now.

And on the flip side, there’s that softer, sweeter Guy, with a vulnerability that just gets to me. *wibble*

And sometimes he’s just–scary. You don’t want to be on his bad side. And yet–he still thrills me even when his eyes go ice cold and his voice is edged in danger.

About fedoralady

I'm an LA native--Lower Alabama, that is. My husband of more than 30 years and I live here on a portion of my family's former farm with two gorgeous calicos and a handsome GSD mix. My background is art education, and over the years I've been a teacher, department store photographer, sales associate and a journalist. My husband, his business partner and I have Pecan Ridge Productions, a video production company, for which I shoot & edit video and stills and manage marketing. I also still write part-time for the local paper. I love movies, music, art, photography and books, and my tastes in all of them are eclectic.

  1. Don’t care whether you’re you or one of the other you’s, I am “hopelessly devoted to you!” I watched the Impressionists today. Whoa. Even if I didn’t want to dip RA in chocolate sauce, I would have loved the movie. Now I can’t decide which is my favorite Impressionists or North and South. What do you all think? I can’t count Thorin he’s beyond the beyond. Sir Guy is over the moon. Lucas is well, he’s Loverly. I haven’t seen John Porter, I can’t get him.

  2. Love it when Guy is being adorable–gotta see that sweet, sweet smile every day. Just makes you want to eat him up.

  3. I haven’t tried to pick a favorite. They’re different enough that they’re good for different things. John Thornton is for Noble, Tortured Love Triumphant; Guy is for the Naughty Boy I’d Like To Tie To Something (but also to cuddle sometimes); John Standring and Harry Kennedy are my favorites for men I’d actually want to be involved with in real life, probably… but then there’s Thorin, and yeah… he pretty much tops everything. Except for the whole quest to the mountain/dragon sickness thing, oh yeah. Thorin. (sigh) You know, if I were a lady Dwarf. (stroking beard thoughtfully)
