Woke up and Even Worse Knee was being totally stroppy. Rain and thunderstorms are due later. Went and got an ice pack and somewhere on the way back with my meal replacement shake I lost the ice pack.
Don’t ask. Blame it on fibro fog.
Spouse brought me another ice pack before heading to town (I just LOVE that man, I really do!) and after icing, EWK is cussing at me with considerably less enthusiasm. This is good. Now if I can just manage not to trip or fall or do something else to aggravate it. We have the dance recital to shoot this afternoon and I will be playing production assistant and sales consultant.
More good news–we’ve already sold eight DVDS! Benny and Harry made it to part of the dress rehearsal last night after work and several parents hit them up. Here’s one of the photos Benny took last night.
Love the costumes and sets and really looking forward to see the kids perform. But this photo is the one that really made me smile.
Speaking of images that make me smile, a photo I took of my mother at her favorite restaurant, Cracker Barrel, on Mother’s Day. I think she was 80, or thereabouts. Mmmmmwhaaa, Mama, I love you!
This makes me smile, too, of course, and go “awwwww” and “sweeeet” and all that. Richard, darn it, could you be a little less ADORABLE?!
What a great post!! Adorable kids in the photo, and your mom was just gorgeous!! Beautiful bone structure… and speaking of that, RA with Kermit. (sigh) The image that launches a thousand NerdGirl blogposts this morning and tomorrow, I’ll bet. :} ❤ ❤ ❤
Hope your brainfog clears a bit… I hate the brainfog. It’s not too bad here right now, although of course I’d think that even if it was ridiculous. snort xoxoxo
Great pix!! Sorry to hear you have a bad case of kneezles. I have MS so I hear ya GF!! The only cure is some ice and a healthy dose of RA. (A bit of a rub by the hub helps too.) Here’s sending you some positive energy.•(♥).•*´¨`*•♥•(★)•♥•*´¨`*•.(♥)•
Richard with Kermit–Kermit with Richard–the stuff of all my dreams. I’m am totally serious, if I didn’t know before that he is absolutely the perfect man, I would certainly know it now. Even with the fact that it makes me breathe funny, I don’t think I want him to be less adorable–not that I think that’s possible anyway. I want them to do a Muppet Show Reunion and have Richard as the guest star.
Also luv the kiddie pix and the one of your mom is lovely–this is a hard time of year for me since my mother passed away two weeks before Mother’s day and it was always a very big day for us. I miss her.
Forgot–I think you and I must have the same guardian angel, Angie. I think mine must look like that constantly!
Thank you for all these wonderful pics. Can´t say what or them I like the most. The little girls are very sweet, your mother looks very aristocratic and this special man is as adorable as always. Wish you good luck with your knee.
Kind regards from Ute in Germany.
That thing about the stop sign at the top made me laugh so much. I had to stop for a temporary stop sign the other day and was a bit confused by it until it swivelled without any human intervention and became a big green to sign! Never seen that before 🙂
Lovely pics of the young girls and your mum…and of course RA. I adore him with Kermit!
My hero and my main crush, together at last. How could it get any better than this?
I’m gonna go out on a limb here…RA = hero, Kermit = main crush! Lol! 😉
Almost–Actually, Kermit has been my hero for years, and Richard is my main crush, my hero’s dream, the sexiest man I’ve ever seen, the loveliest, most genuine gentleman in the world, has more talent in his little finger than most of the rest of the acting world combined–I could go on and on and ON and still not be able to list all of his sterling qualities, because they are endless.
Good luck with your shoot this arvo, and I hope your knee gets better. I’ve been practicing the Rainbow Connection on the piano lately and after seeing this pic of our friend Kermit I’m off to sing my little heart out about lovers (*ahem*), dreamers and me!!!
