Meri daring to stroke The MAN”S beard during their brief encounter on the Mornings Show in Sydney.

I was working on the Kindergarten vid in the wee hours and that somehow segue wayed into making a simple (but sexy!!) little RA vid, which I may get uploaded later. In the meantime, I see this video finally showed up. In case you missed it, take a gander at the Popcorn Taxi interview some of our own got to enjoy IN PERSON. 😀 Not to mention beard stroking and book signings earlier . . .

Time for lunch and a little nap. Later, y’all.

  1. I had the best time watching that! I clapped and giggle throughout the interview! He really is terrific! Now, I think I’ll watch it again!

  2. Thanks so much, Angie, for posting this interview. You always take care of your readers. Isn’t he the dearest, most loveliest person! I’ll be looking for the new vid. Good luck to you and Benny in your work with PRP.

    • Probably tomorrow before I upload it to YT, it’s made. I may be working on this K vid for a while as we need to get started on the Wizard of Oz this weekend. Thanks, I will try not to stay up until 4 am this time. 😉

  3. It was so great to see it again – it is definitely one of my favourite interviews with him. He was so at ease that night. Its a shame that popcorn taxi editied out the bit where he comes on stage and recognises Meri and I from the TV show that morning and joked with us about not changing his clothes when we had! But if you watch the beginning of the interview you see the 2 of us give him a standing ovation! 🙂

      • Yeah it went for about 40 mins – they edited out the ridiculous questions and the poor girl who got completely star struck and couldnt ask the question properly. When Richard asked her to clarify what she meant there was dead silence and then she just giggled. It was awful!!! The interviewer swept in and saved the day.

  4. So lovely to revisit that magical night. The sound quality is excellent; isn’t that inimitable bass-baritone so deliciously resonant! They must have placed him right in the auditory sweet spot of the theatre. Thanks for finding the video and posting it.

  5. I had so much fun watching this! How adoRAble was he? Will be rewatching A LOT to pick up on all those quirks. Loved his reaction to the cage fight question! He just seems so approachable in this, huggable! Once again intelligent answers carefully thought through and a lovely level of cheekiness throughout! Oh Meri and Lady O and all those others lucky enough to have made it there you lucky lucky things! There may have only been room for a limited amount of people there but we were ALL there in spirit!
