Sir Peter is being his usual loveable, mischievous self again and posting things like the video (see link above) featuring Evangeline, Orlando and Lee in costume reacting with great merriment to watching a video of two excited fans reacting to . . . watching a vid. It’s delightful! Lots of great cheekbones and smile to enjoy here, too. 😉 Thanks, Sir Peter and the gang.
Wasn’t it so much fun! So great of these guys, and gal, and PJ to join in the fun! Costumes looked great too!
Sir Peter is having as much fun with this as we are, I think. 😉 Hubby LOL’d watching it with me this morning. He commented how cool it is that PJ interacts with the fans in so many ways. Guess it’s just because PJ’s a fan himself. 😀
It looks like he pulled the three of them right off the set! Loved all their reactions. They really got into it. What was it Evangeline said? “This might be more intense than the trailer.” I wonder how often they get to experience someone enjoying and reacting to their work this way? Had to be a rush for them.
And doesn’t Lee’s armor look cool? Battle scene being shot, maybe?
Yes!! I loved this. It made them so accessible and likeable, in a way that their characters might not be otherwise. 😀
That was really fun to watch. It’s funny but those girl’s reactions seem a little familiar!!
Ya think?
Great photo–but where’s Thorin?
Busy filming, I am guessing. The link is there to the video and it’s those three that are in it. Can’t always get Thorin. 😉
I was kidding–I know we can’t always get Thorin (sigh!) I can dream, though–
OK, wasn’t sure if you’d seen the link. I tried to get to embed but it wouldn’t cooperate. 😉
Don’t feel bad–since last week, we are having some difficulties with the computer we have now, so it’s doing all kinds of crazy stuff. Luckily, it hasn’t crashed or done anything like that yet–I’m just being very careful of what I do so I can coax it along.
I did finally get to watch the new trailer for “Smaug” last night–nice one, although I am looking forward to seeing more of our guy. The river and barrels scenes should be amazing.
Yes, never enough Thorin, of course. That barrel scene is one wild ride!!
I feel for Richard–poor guy, with the aversion he has to water and not being a “water baby” as he says–
I keep thinking the reason he’s looking down is to make sure the water that’s splashing into his barrel hasn’t risen over his ankles. I feel for him. I am so afraid of water, I wear a life jacket in the bathtub. However, if he was drowning, I would still jump in to help save him as long as i didn’t put anyone else in danger, of course. (I’m an idiot, but I’m not stupid. Well, sometimes I’m stupid, but that’s on another blog.)
It’s truly amazing how a bad experience with water can stick with you so many years after–I think one of the reasons I feel so for him is that I had one myself years ago (slid off of an inner tube and got my foot caught up in an underwater branch–someone else had to dive down and get it loose. but what an awful feeling). To this day, I’m not comfortable in water that’s over my head.
I actually used to swim quite well, until an unfortunate accident at a public pool where a kid jumped in the pool too soon after I did and kicked me in the head, then tangled me in his feet, thus holding me under water. Now I don’t do water above my natural waterwings (boobs.) ever. And the gods have mercy on your pathetic soul if you splash water in my face or try to dunk me.
God, how awful–I can certainly understand why you feel the way you do. I actually don’t mind being in the water on a hot day, as long as it’s in a pool and not over my head. But I’m not much of a swimmer and never have been, despite taking lessons at two different times in my life.
