A Christmas Carol

Oakenshield, Oakenshield, majestic through and through (just don’t trust those fur stealing elves . . .) Love it!

Such is Life

So Dear Readers, before I vanish offline for a few weeks due to the later release of Desolation of Smaug here in Erebor,  (I don’t want to read anything about the movie in advance to spoil my enjoyment of it) I thought I would share a very special Christmas Carol with you that I wrote all about my beloved and his quest. (Yes I know, I really should get out more!)

It is sung to the tune of Jingle Bells and was inspired by another Hobbit based Christmas Carol I saw on Facebook written by a friend. See Ms B? I told you that you inspired me!

So without further ado, get yourself a glass of EggNog or other Christmas themed drink and join me as I go caroling.

About fedoralady

I'm an LA native--Lower Alabama, that is. My husband of more than 30 years and I live here on a portion of my family's former farm with two gorgeous calicos and a handsome GSD mix. My background is art education, and over the years I've been a teacher, department store photographer, sales associate and a journalist. My husband, his business partner and I have Pecan Ridge Productions, a video production company, for which I shoot & edit video and stills and manage marketing. I also still write part-time for the local paper. I love movies, music, art, photography and books, and my tastes in all of them are eclectic.
