If you ever wondered what 21st century Guy might look like . . .

Standard

BeFunky_RAGuycollageedit.jpg He’s more–civilized (but never say “tamed”). More coolly confident, but he still can be–edgy. Intense. And he does love to look sleek and sexy. The wenches? They are still crazy about him. Don’t be hatin’ the swagger. The modern-day version of the World’s Hottest Henchman has got it goin’ on. Oh, yeah . . . Happy Guyday Friday! 😀 BeFunky_guysmilingfinaledit.jpg

About fedoralady

I'm an LA native--Lower Alabama, that is. My husband of more than 30 years and I live here on a portion of my family's former farm with two gorgeous calicos and a handsome GSD mix. My background is art education, and over the years I've been a teacher, department store photographer, sales associate and a journalist. My husband, his business partner and I have Pecan Ridge Productions, a video production company, for which I shoot & edit video and stills and manage marketing. I also still write part-time for the local paper. I love movies, music, art, photography and books, and my tastes in all of them are eclectic.

  1. “Clothing optional” – where was that offered???
I had exactly the same thought re RA’s look in Vegas – Sir Guy (minus the scowl – sorry, darling knight) in 21st century attire. I suspect it really is because of the current Chop-extensions, but nonetheless. Looked really nice.

    • Great minds obviously think alike, Guylty. Yes, it’s down to the extensions . . . and it works for me. Oh, the clothing optional clause applies to all those Robin Hood:After Dark fantasies and related fanfics.

  2. Love Richard with longer hair… love Guy ancient or modern. Thanks for the pics. Was that when he did the interview for the Anglophile Channel ?

  3. You’re right Angie. I’m one of those who has repeatedly wondered how Guy would look like these days…. You nailed it! Isn’t he a delicioussss-looking gem?

  4. Love the picture – he looks great. You are right about good dressed men being attractive, BUT I really, really would like the fashion for men not be so utterly boring. Bring back the white, loose shirts and the tight black pants or the fashion of the Borgias or Tudor instead of all the same boring suits (hey, at least they have different colours)!!!

    • Of course, all men do not look so exquisite in those billowy white shirts and tight black trousers . . . thinking of the Prince Regent stuffing his considerable girth into Regency clothing. Or the real Henry VIII (not the TV version).

    • I wonder if Richard looked at himself in the mirror after they added the extensions and said, “Well, Guy. Fancy meeting you again . . .” And was it with pleasure or pain or amusement or a mixture of all of the above that he acknowledged his ChaRActer? I know filming RH was not altogether a happy experience for him, but gosh, he was so wonderful in that role. And to see a glimpse of Guy again—*sigh* I mean, other than hanging around here with LW.

    • There’s a dash of Monet there, too, but he would need that little mustache and patch on his chin (and a floppy tie) . . . rather than the general stubble. The current hair color for Chop is closer to Monet’s wig than to Guy’s black hair, ‘tis true.
