Just a potpourri of Armitage edits and screencaps from behind the scenes, photo shoots, red carpet appearances and so forth over the years. A little something for everyone, hopefully. Have a lovely Sunday!

Sunday SmoRgAsbord: Richard on the Red Carpet (Pt.2)
For a man who once described red carpet appearances as a somewhat agonizing experience for him, we’ve seen Richard Armitage‘s poise, quiet confidence and aplomb on such occasions only increase by leaps and bounds. Love his interactions with the fans along the way–the manner in which he gives his attention to each person, focusing those beautiful eyes and that warm, personable smile on each individual. He laughs, he jokes, he charms with seemingly effortless grace.
Well done you, Mr. A! You are a true star—classy, gorgeous, talented and a refreshingly old-fashioned
gentleman.
Sunday SmoRgAsbord: Part 2
Bon appetit! A soupcon of Monsieur Monet, oui?
A dash of the delicious Lucas North–just ring up delivery.
A bound Sergeant Portah is on the menu. Oh, my, the ideas . . .
Sir Guy–one of the star attractions of our Sunday smorgasbord. Yummmmmm . . . .
Grab a fork and dig in.
Dr. Track is just the sort of comfort food a girl needs when she is feeling down . . .
And for dessert, the sweet goodness that is John Standring.
Sunday SmoRgAsbord: It’s ba-aack! (Part 1)
Rev up your motor with Ricky, dive in the deep end with Lee, savor sweet romance with Mr. Thornton, sizzle in sexy steaminess with Portah, admire the medieval beauty that is Sir Guy, thrill to Thorin’s amazing way with a weapon or simply bask in the sunshine that is sweet Harry’s smile as you sample our first smorgasbord for Sunday.
Still wet and downright soggy here with 70 percent chance of rain tomorrow and a good chance on Monday, too. Everyone is pretty tired of the endless precipitation. Hope these fellows will help brighten up all our days!
A Sunday SmoRgAsbord in More Ways Than One
The last couple of days–wet, chilly and quite FMS-unfriendly–have not strictly been the most productive for me. However, I did get some rest including actual restorative sleep (a rarity for me) involving several really nice dreams. I got up this morning in a happy mood, moving fairly well. Benny and I enjoyed a good cuddle on the sole day each week he doesn’t have to get up and head to the salt mines. Amongst his many fine qualities, he’s an extremely cuddly kind of dude. 😉
I’ve been visiting Facebook and snaffling some images and words of wisdom and inspiration I enjoyed, as well as playing with some images of Mr. A. Thought I would share them with you all as I hope you are having a restful, fun, inspiring kind of Sunday (or good Monday, as the case may be).
And some in all ways: looks, personality, character. *sigh*

Sunday SmorgRgAsbord: Secret Agent Men
Wanted to bring you more photo edits of our spies for MI6, MI5 and Hydra, but WP is not being kind to me today. And I REALLY need a nap (asleep after 2, awake by 4:30 a.m.) so enjoy what’s here, including the Johnny Rivers’ classic, “Secret Agent Man.” 😉 All the shows are done now, we are pleased with results of DVD sales and also response of those watching themselves larger than life last night on the wall of the theatre, the sound pretty awesome coming through the theatre’s system. 😀
It’ll take me a couple of days to get up to speed, so bear with me. I have some chores to do related to Pecan Ridge Productions, amongst other things. Hope all are well.
Sunday SmoRgAsbord: ChaRActers & the “real” RA
Spouse and I watched The Hobbit on Blu-ray tonight. More on that later (he did say it didn’t seem as long watching at home ;)). I spent a good portion of the afternoon trying to use Muvee Reveal to edit a birthday vid and let’s just say it wasn’t cooperating. I have since moved to the more vanilla offerings of Windows Movie Maker. A 30 minute video can seem like an eternity under such circumstances . . . I’ve recorded the new Doctor Who to watch tomorrow, just caught Orphan Black ( very good performance by Tatiana Manslany) and now watching The Nerdist.
Tomorrow night–the long-awaited return of Game of Thrones (oh, Tyrion, how I have missed you!), the debut of Mr. Selfridge on PBS and once more, it’s a return to too many things I want to watch ending up on Sunday nights. Feast or famine at times, I have to say.
Anyhow, here are some new photo edits for you to peruse, my dears. Hope you all have a happy Easter/Easter Monday!
Sunday RA SmoRgAsbord: Memes!
Early Sunday SmoRgAsbord: Delightful, Delicious, De-lovely
Now that I am back from those two beauty pageants (both of us tired and feeling terribly middle-aged with our aches and pains) I have the 3oo photos downloading that I took tonight to begin sorting through and choosing the best for editing. They will be included in the video footage Benny and Harry shot this afternoon and tonight. In the meantime, enjoy these photo edits of our own delicious, delightful, de-lovely Richard Armitage. Who could win both Mr. Congeniality AND take away the crown!
Don’t forget: the preview of Wednesday’s radio interview with RA is tomorrow at 1 p.m. UK time, which means some of us will be getting up early to listen to the broadcast www.bbc.co.uk/radioleicester Oh maybe, since this is a preview, I’ll just wait . . . 😉
And for US readers, remember it’s time to spring forward–move those clocks ahead one hour before going to bed. Love, love!!
More Sunday SmoRgAsbord: Random RA Sweetness *sigh*
Richard Armitage, I don’t know you, but I certainly like what I see. Oh, not just the six feet and two inches of long, lean, muscular masculine beauty with all its grace and agility and amazing sex appeal that I see before me on film and in stills.
It’s also the good-humored, charming, self-deprecating, modest, witty, hard-working, genuinely nice man I perceive you to be. The man who readily shares hugs and smiles with his fans. The man who digs so deep to “bring it” with each and every one of his performances, who makes us care just as deeply. The man who never takes it all for granted or who forgets those less fortunate than he.
More than talented or gorgeous or charismatic. A really sweet guy.
Truly, how can I not love a fellow like you?
Sunday SmoRgAsbord: Always my nominee for Best Actor
Year in, year out. For past, present and future performances, whether in roles large or small. In his case, there truly are no small roles, only small actors. My Best Actor, because his characters become flesh and blood to me, real, flawed, compelling human beings. Men of many shades, light and dark, with whom I go on a journey of discovery. His performances inspire, provoke and encourage; they break my heart and make it sing. Thank you, Richard Armitage.
He’s got the power.

Sunday SmoRgAsbord: The Way That I Want to Touch You
Those mesmerizing eyes, the tempting stubble I want to graze my fingertips against, the fringe falling across the forehead, begging to be smoothed back.
Hmmmm, that fringe is still tempting me. And the biceps. And the desire to stroke those hairy forearms.
Oh that tantalizing glimpse of swan-like throat and chest, and those snaps. *thud* Snaps were made to be unsnapped, right? And his little cowlick. So sexy and so cute all at the same time.
Oh, Thorin, I want to stroke your mustache, ruffle your beard and wrap your braids around my fingers, brush through your beautiful mane of hair for you.
Those chesticles. Mmmmm, mmmmm, good. And the big, strong, beautiful hand . . .
