Today I discovered a parcel from across the great Atlantic had arrived in my mail box. Happy, happy, joy, joy! ( dancing with glee).
Now all I need is a Thorin mug to enjoy a cup of coffee whilst I lounge around in my new Thorin T-shirt and ogle read the magazine article once again. Life is sweet.
Enjoy!
Thank you! It’s been so warm today I was able to wear the T-shirt with comfort. Thorin is so handsome . . . *sigh*
It’s going to be 65 tomorrow and 73 Wednesday after a week of 30’s. I hardly know what to wear!
I know what you mean. It’s supposed to be in the mid-70s tomorrow, and then by Wednesday night drop back down in the 30s and only in 50s Thursday. A yo-yo.
Love that fairy godmother! *happy dance* Enjoy!
Me, too!!
Oooh, lucky you to get the Glamour magazine! At least I can read the scans over at RANet while I wait for my Fault issue to arrive. 🙂
He’s stunning. Actually, there are some other articles I have also enjoyed in there. 100 things to be happy about, for example. 😀
I’ve got that magazine! I staked out a newsagent near me that gets magazines in from the UK – i tried to reserve a copy but the newsagent was adamant that i wouldn’t need to as he gets 7 in! 7! Clearly the man did not realise what he had there. Other than the RA article (swoon) it wasn’t really my demographic – the first thing about the ‘365 days of Hot Sex’ article i noticed was that the models were making out right next to a Kitchen Aid food mixer just like mine. I read that whole article and i learned nothing..
I used to read Glamour once upon a time but it’s really geared for someone at least 20 years younger than I am now. LOL I did enjoy the 100 things article and some of the beauty stuff, but I love that kind of stuff in general.
The interview with Miranda Hart was good.
Haven’t made it to that yet. I love her on Call the Midwife. Never seen her show.
I think you would love her show. She has a wonderful gift for observation. She comes over as someone I would genuinely choose as a friend.
She brings incredible warmth and humanity as well as humor to her role as Chummy on Call the Midwife. It’s really made me a fan.
Here you go:
Patricia Hodge (older lady) plays her mother, Gary the Chef is her love interest and the blondes are her friends.
It’s 15 minutes long but i couldn’t find many clips.
Thank you for the link! I am also a fan of Patricia Hodge.
I didn’t know whether PH was known stateside. I also felt uncomfortable describing her as ‘older’ but couldn’t think of how else to identify her! She is a hoot in this role.
Well, I just checked and she’s in her mid-60s, so I think it’s OK to refer to her as older woman. 😉 I remember her best from “Rumpole of the Bailey.” I have watched so much Masterpiece Theatre and BBCA over the years that many British actors are familiar faces and names to me. 😀 A lovely, classy lady.
Bolly, if you happen to be in that newsagent and there are copies left, would you mind getting me a couple? I’m sure Angie wouldn’t mind if I sent you my email address via her so that I can see about paying you for cost and postage.
Not at all Mezz – I’m going into Chatswood tomorrow so I will see if he has any left ( there were 7 after all!) How many do you want? They are 8.95 each.
Thanks bolly! *hugs*
And thanks Angie for being the go-between! I’ve tried emailing you but I get a “message failed to send” notification.
No problem. Hmmmm that’s odd. I’m getting emails OK right now. ??
What an attractive couple! 🙂
LOL I was so excited I took pictures with no makeup. Kind of brave for me at this age. I always get “you looked tired/sleepy” when I go out with no eye makeup. Can’t help having blonde eyelashes and “sleepy” blue eyes!! Such is life.
what are you talking about?:) you look lovely!
Good lighting in the bathroom. LOL Thanks!
It’s great Angie !
I have also bought the “Glamour” magazine, I had the chance to find it in Switzerland so I have send one to a friend in Paris who could only find the French “Glamour” edition. 😉
