It’s our anniversary!

Standard

John is bringing the fish and chips with a side order of charm.

Richard appears to be ready and waiting for some celebratory cake.

The one-week anniversary of my blog as of later tonight, that is. I think things have gotten off to a great start. You always have some trepidation befor starting this sort of project. It’s like throwing a party and worrying that no one will come.
Well, you have come and given the present of your comments, and for this I am very grateful.

These guys dropped in to celebrate the occasion with us.

I'm an LA native--Lower Alabama, that is. My husband of more than 30 years and I live here on a portion of my family's former farm with two gorgeous calicos and a handsome GSD mix. My background is art education, and over the years I've been a teacher, department store photographer, sales associate and a journalist. My husband, his business partner and I have Pecan Ridge Productions, a video production company, for which I shoot & edit video and stills and manage marketing. I also still write part-time for the local paper. I love movies, music, art, photography and books, and my tastes in all of them are eclectic.

  1. Congratulations! It’s a great blog, one I enjoy thoroughly.
Re. the “waiting for celebratory cake”, if I’d known, I would have baked the infamous dark chocolate cake (with cabernet reduction). Believe me, with all the healthy eating, the running, and the gym, plus gardening and housework, darling Richard could afford a bite of this decadent delight.

    • Thanks! And I am sure Richard would have enjoyed every morsel of it. I can see him now, that tongue darting out to catch the chocolate crumbs (ooh, he might need help getting them out of his beard?!) that twinkle of appreciation in those beautiful blue eyes. šŸ˜€

  2. Happy One Week Anniversary. I have been lurking all week and loving your blog. It is so much fun and I love them pictures and videos too. Thank you for giving some great fun.

@judit. I love the term “richarding”. I never thought of using Richard as a verb. I think I will borrow it. LOL

  3. Happy Anniversary…and keep up the good work! I have been having a great time seeing what you come up with and all of the comments. This is just one more thing to add to my must sees concerning Richard everyday:)
