Favorite Easter Candy & Our Own Sweet “Candy Man”

Standard

Sinfully rich and delicious Cadbury creme-filled eggs are my favorite Easter treat.

And there’s the always popular choccie Easter bunny. Are you an “ears first” or “tail first” consumer?

The longtime favorites, Peeps, but with a twist. It’s Star Trek peeps!

Robin's egg candy is the Easter version of malted milk balls. My husband's absolute fav.

And for those with more sophisticated tastes, there are Jelly Belly's gourmet flavors. Root beer, apple pie, or coconut anyone?

M&Ms, the most popular candy in the U.S. in pastel colors perfect for Easter. They melt in your mouth and not in your hands.

There's your common-or-garden jelly bean (no licorice for me, thanks)

Yummmmmm . . .

So, what is your favorite Easter candy? My  all-time favorite candy isn’t Cadbury’s or Hershey’s or Russell Stover‘s . . . it’s that sweet chocolate-voiced Candyman. :D

I'm an LA native--Lower Alabama, that is. My husband of more than 25 years and I live here in a country home we share with four pets, including a three-legged tuxedo cat with a Hitler mustache. My background is art education, and over the years I've been a teacher, department store photographer, sales associate and a journalist. I love movies, music, art, photography and books, and my tastes are eclectic. It was Richard who was the catalyst for me to pursue fiction writing, first fanfic and now a novel. I also make fanvids and create fanart. RA is my muse and I find him endlessly inspiring.

  1. I think they’re only available on the west coast of the U.S., but See’s makes delicious chocolates and for me, it’s not really a celebration without some of my favourite varieties of their chocolates. On the other hand, there’s this other kind of candy I find absolutely irresistible…
